Takes lots of grinding to make coffee

Thought it would grind coffee beans with just a few pulses, but takes way more than that. But for the price and the size, I guess it works as it should

Worth it

This coffee grinder is good. Grinds the beans well, smoothly. It takes about seven presses to grind them, which is double the amount of time from my last grinder. It isn’t a long time—I’m just comparing. I use a little brush to clean it up. It looks good on the counter, but I usually stored in the cupboard. I would say it’s a good purchase.

Really easy to use, when it works. Temperamental: the little prong that’s supposed to dip into the hole to trigger the power doesn’t always do the job and sometimes takes a few tries. Read online that you’re supposed to clean the coffee ground but that means I’d have to clean it everyday after grinding beans. This is a coffee grinder and coffee gets in places. I’d rather get a grinder that has a different power mechanism that having some coffee ground in the unit won’t get in the way of using it and eventually stops working as a result.

Good coffee grinder

To be honest I did not buy this product based on reviews, I bought it because I am just a general Bodum fan. Coffee grinder is well....a coffee grinder. The stainless steel appears to be stain free, the blades are sharp and its shape and size make it easy to hold. The cord stows in the bottom of the grinder like most do and is long enough to plug in and use comfortably. My only gripe with this grinder is the button on the lid, so it took me two of these to figure out that it is by design. To turn the grinder on the button pushes out very slightly (away from the cover) and then down, I know it sounds silly but when it first arrived it made me think something was broken because all coffee grinders I have ever used you just push straight down. I'm guessing this is some kind of safety feature, can't figure out why but just be aware that your new grinder isn't broken.

Quick and Easy [steel]

After many beans chopped for making many brews, I've found this grinder to be very nice and its small form coupled with sleek design looks nice sat atop the counter. I chose the steel variant rather the plastic and am so happy that I did. At first, I was worried that it might be faux steel; plastic made to look like metal but was pleasantly surprised with it arrived. Any opportunity to avoid more plastic is one I'm willing to endeavour. It grinds the beans very well but my only complaint is that it can be annoying to clean as the grinding part does not separate from the unit itself, meaning that one cannot simply use water to clean the reservoir; albeit a dampened rag does the trick fine. The reservoir fits roughly 35 grammes of beans without reducing its efficacy too much. Any more and results may vary. However, this limitation is fine as I usually never exceed 21 grammes for two cups of joe and it permits the small form that the unit has.

Effective, Easy to Use But a bit Messy

This is my first purchase of a coffee bean grinder, as I recently switched from mass-produced ground coffee to fresh whole coffee beans. This is easy to use: plug it in, fill it with coffee beans, close the lid and then press the button. I've tried a Course Grind and a Fine Grind and was successful with both types. My only 'dislike' is that some ground coffee spills out of the grinder when I pour the ground coffee into my French press. Every single time. It is a bit annoying, for me anyhow.

You get what you pay for

Nothing overly negative here. The item itself is easy to use, but it is definitely a 'at home' coffee grinder and it only grinds enough for about 2 cups of coffee. I do not recommend this if you are using pour over or drip coffee makers because it only has one setting. You hold the button down and it grinds the beans. The way I use it is I use a count down and grind the beans for 30 seconds, but to be honest I am not sure if I am grinding the beans fine enough for pour over. Given the price I can't really complain. You get what you pay for haha

No pude ni estrenarlo!!!

En el primer uso el café ya molido se filtro hacia dentro del mecanismo, haciendo que el café saliera por la parte de abajo del molino, aun después de que lo limpiamos se escuchaba como los finos granos de cafe se movían dentro del equipo. muy buenas recomendaciones pero a mi no me sirvió.

Ok grinder

I love the look of this. However after a few weeks use it just stopped working and we tried everything to fix it.
