Product was as advertised.

May wife uses brush all the times for her Cast-Iron and non Cast-Iron pots and Pans. Works very good and it's easy on her hands and wrist.

Good quality and easy to use

Use one for cleaning cast iron skillet and other for cleaning other kitchen surfaces. Well constructed and dries quickly.

I like it

It's softer than my other cleaning brush which allows it to get into the crevasses and might be less abrasive on my china. I just add a couple drops of dish soap to the brush and it was cleaned with use.

It's very easy to use alright, but doesn't always get the job done

When food doesn't stick to the pan, the brush is pretty nice, but so is any other cleaning tool. When food DOES stick to the pan, the brush doesn't always manage to get it. A lot of times the food stays on, what I end up doing is take a kitchen paper towel/napkin and scrap the food up with my thumb under running warm water. But if that can get the toughest job done, why wouldn't I just use a paper towel or dedicated cloth the whole time? If the food isn't coming out, just apply more force on the fingers. Either the brush hairs are too soft or too long, since in my experience they don't scrub hard enough.

Easy non scratch cleaner

Nice design, well balanced, good scrub brush for many uses

I like the design of this scrub brush. It feels balanced in the hand, and the handle is long and sturdy enough that you feel you can really scrub with the brush -- it's not delicate or easy to break. These are all "pros" in my mind. Important ones. Another thing I like is the reasonable price. Often, one sees only "cutsie" accessories that look flimsy and have a higher price than it seems they should. This brush gives me the sense that I'm getting my money's worth. Plus, as an Amazon Prime member, I am confident that customer service issues, if they should arise, will be taken care of properly. Again, that's an important plus in my book. The only "con" or concern I have is whether the bristles will hold up, long term. They are pretty stout now, when the brush is new, but they look like brush bristles I've used in the past that, once they get wet and are used a few times, begin to sag or fall out. I don't know if these bristles are natural or man-made, but in either case, I believe that drying the brush properly is a KEY to having a useful tool that lasts a good long time. I recommend that the manufacturer provides instructions about how to clean and dry the brush; otherwise, it may end up in a couple of months with bristles that have lost their rigidity or sharpness, and lean over or fall out. This would spell the end of usefulness, and that is just not necessary. This is not a criticism or review of the manufacturer, just a suggestion about how to make a good product even more valuable. Overall, I give the Lodge Scrub Brush 4 stars because it looks hefty and appears to have real value as a cleaning tool for cast iron. (It can also be used for many other cleaning jobs that require a strong brush.) I didn't give it 5 stars because I think the addition of the weird name "SCRBRSH" in the product title is confusing and unnecessary. You may think this is a joke, but I'm serious -- why cloud a simple name with what looks like a warehouse stock description? That does the consumer no good.

It works

Pretty decent scrub brush, does what’s it’s supposed to do. I am certain there are more affordable options, but I am content with my purchase and mostly confident I’d likely purchase again if required. (It gets pretty narrow towards the base and could potentially snap if too much pressure is applied whilst in use. Which sort of brings up my only gripe: the bristles could be stiffer to get out the more stuck bits, so that’s why I’m only giving it a four star rating. Other than that, yay!) PS: It also looks nice hanging from the rack. The added hole in the handle was very thoughtful and allows it to dry out nicely.

Very well made

Does an excellent job cleaning my cast iron pan. Tough bristles, easy to clean because its super wood handle is comfortable to hold, yet strong enough to give good cleaning wellie. This is one tough pan cleaner made by Lodge. With care it will last a long time.
