Handy little tool

Let’s get this out of the way…yes it’s made in Cambodia. By a fully licensed and quality inspected Lodge factory. It’s a global company. Be reasonable. South Pittsburgh can’t outfit the planet. This is my second. Been using the other for years, and still do. Use it as a lid stand for the Dutch oven and a cook base for a skillet. Same quality one would get from a lodge product purchased directly from the factory in TN. Highly recommended for frequent campers.

Excellent tool for lifting & holding the lid, and to lift a heavy pan

The media could not be loaded. Works wonderfully to lift the lid and hold it up -- Lodge claims you can cook with it, but I have not yet done so. What I found VERY useful that I do not remember Lodge you could use it for: to lift a heavy pan by the opposite side of the handle.

Works well

Works very well. I've had one of these for years and they're indispensable when cooking with a dutch oven. Light enough to fit in your back pocket and sturdy enough to withstand years of supporting the weight of a cast iron Dutch oven while surrounded by high heat.

Perfect tool for camp cooking

This little tool is a must have for camp cooking! It is super sturdy and not too heavy, has many different uses, making it a great value for the money. You will never have to buy another one, they last forever!

painted steel not cast iron

this item is not cast iron it is painted steel still does its job very efficiently

A little off balance but does the job.

One arm sits higher than the other by design which creates a little wobble but it is manageable.

Can’t use it for a lid lifter like it states, isn’t strong enough too.Over priced big time

Peeling paint before use

Haven’t used it yet and paint is already chipping off. Not a good sign.
