Superb stockpot
We wanted a stockpot that could take higher heat than our Creuset and we're super happy we found this one. We've cooked soup, deep-fried chicken in it, and done a stir-fry, and the pot has been stellar. It's reasonably priced, beautifully made (tight rivets, deburred edges, mirror polish), and heats evenly. I also like the lid design, which has a pretty thick lower rim, so it hopefully won't ding up over time. The handles contain no plastic to crack, so hopefully it'll last a long time. On the downside, it's not the easiest to clean - but that is true of basically all stainless steel cookware; it's the price for not having to deal with Teflon or ceramic coatings flaking off over time. As of right now, it's a 5/5 for me. I was so impressed that I've bought a full set from this same manufacturer.

Quality Pot
Very nice quality for the money. My husband is a life-long cook, and after breaking the lid to one of his everyday dutch ovens, I surprised him with this. He is very pleased with it so far. The pot itself can go in the oven for up to 500 degrees, but the lid can only be heated to 350 degrees. That is the only downfall so far. He doesn't usually put his everyday dutch ovens in the oven, unless it is to keep something warm, so that doesn't really matter to him. The stainless steel is thick, as well as the glass lid. The handles are very secure and thick as well. This dutch oven gets five stars from the well-seasoned cook.

Waited over 3 to give honest review
I’ve had this pot for about 4 months now and wanted to use it a few times before giving my honest review. First let me say I absolutely love this pot. The heat distribution is on point! Very easy to clean. If anything is stuck to the bottom, I soak it for a few hours and everything comes off. I’ve used it to cook family meals that takes a while like Curry Goat (3-4 hour cook time), Oxtails ( 3 hour cook time) and Chicken Rasta Pasta, to test out the durability. Every single thing I cooked in this pot has come out great! The price is very reasonable and it’s built well like it will last for a long time. I love how the handles are roomy, it makes easier to grab with mittens or heat pad. Yes the handles do get a little hot. I would definitely recommend.

Just What I've Been Looking For
Easily, my new favorite pot. We only had a 1 liter, 4 liter, and 16 liter pot prior to buying this one. We really needed something in between. I have a cast iron Lodge dutch oven, but it's tapered down to the bottom, leaving a small cooking surface if browning is needed. Also, it's not good to cook reactive dishes, such as the pictured curry chicken made with tomato base, in cast iron. Speaking of cooking area, holy moly. This is the widest set pot I think I've ever cooked on. Also, it's not tapered at all. Straight sides. When the pot arrived in its box, my first thought was, "did they send me the right size?" The box looked too short. Little did I know, the pot had such a wide base. Now, instead of browning meat in 3 or 4 batches, it literally cuts the amount of batches needed in half. It's pretty amazing. It's stainless steel, so you can abuse it while cleaning if you want. Also, unlike some of the reviews, I have not noticed any discoloration on the bottom. The pictures I've seen looked like they left the pot on the head dry for a significant period. I have left the pot on high heat for a minute or two to preheat it for browning, which is more than adequate time, and it didn't discolor at all. I also saw a review where somebody complained about ruining a $40 meal. Not sure how that would happen even with a poor quality pan. Me thinks user error? I wonder how many of the negative reviews are due to user error. I mean, I've cooked on rocks at a camp site and it came out fine, sans pan. The one concern I could see possible is the big glass lid. If you bump it while hot, or drop some cold liquid on it while it's hot, you are definitely going to get a pot full of pasta and glass. However, I also don't see that as being a design flaw. If you are that concerned, there are universal metal lids you can use in lieu of the provided glass lid. I would definitely recommend this pot to anybody not needing an entire set and just needs a wide-based pot to add to their kitchen. I suspect it'll become your daily driver, just like it's become mine.

Great large pot/pan
This is the size of pan I’ve been searching for. I love one pot meals and this easily fits meals for 4-6 people without spilling out. It seems strong. And the lid is nice. It’s the cheapest pan I could find that met my needs and seemed to be of good quality. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase.

very good quality wide pot
I bought this pot especially for stuffed peppers and I'm very happy with it. Yes, it's expensive but it was worth it. It can fit about 11 medium size peppers, and they cook very nicely without sticking, thanks to the thick bottom. It's also excellent quality, beautiful finish and design. It's dishwasher safe, though they recommend to wash it by hand so the mirror finish would keep better. That goes for every stainless steel pot though, and I've always washed them in the dishwasher.

Wow
Could not wait to use this as soon as I got it. Remember my gran had something similar but beat up and old and some beautiful, flavorful food came out of that pot. OMG...perfect size and it browns meat beautifully. People please understand this is old school cooking pot. Just be gentle and it will last you for years. No metal. Seriously, not metal. Wooden spoon. Jambalaya came out beautiful, had to say I made the best Paella in that pan ever and the burgundy stew was out of this world.
