Works Great
Wasn’t sure about it when I saw it was in two pieces. Then I read the instructions and it works great!

Was less than what I needed.
It cost less than a Larson replacement. It is of less quality, however, it worked in a pinch. I could not wait to find a Larson replacement. I would recommend not purchasing this item unless you couldn’t find the right size Larson replacement (like me).

Seals out the cold!
Because my door was up a bit higher than it should be, I was able to place this one over the exisiting one and it works great! Seals out the cold air!

Won't stay snapped together on Pella storm door
First, it's not a full 1.75" length, closer to 1.5". Second, the screw holes don't line up so I had to drill a few holes in the sweep(not the door like an idiot). Third, it's supposed to fit doors 1.5" wide but it doesn't stay on. I got the interior piece drilled out and mounted, then snapped in the exterior piece just like you're supposed to. It barely catches the last little snap cleat. But it does catch and feels like it's snapped into place. Then it just falls off. Readjusted and resnapped. Falls off again. Look online, check package for any instructions(none), then readjust and resnap again. Falls right off. I kind of wish I just spent my $20 on booze. At least that would've given the illusion that I was warmer.

Highly adjustable, great for a retrofit.
Former homeowners left me a dirty old storm door laying face-down in the front lawn covered in splotches of paint, nail polish, old chewing gum and dirt. It had a lot of potential though- full length glass with a white frame. I decided to refurbish it by removing it and cleaning it from top to bottom. I also replaced the ugly brass hardware with satin nickel hardware. As a final icing on the cake, I replaced the thick, misaligned brass door sweep with this one. It's really nothing fancy at all - it appears to be made of either vinyl or PVC. It comes slightly over-sized so I had to cut it to size with a hacksaw. I assume they do this to ensure that it fits on most doors. It is adjustable to the thickness of your door - my storm door is about 1.25" thick and I was able to retrofit it perfectly. Since my original door sweep had quite a bit more height to it than this one (this one rises about 1.5" from the bottom on the front side and 1.25" from the bottom on the back side) I drilled new holes for this door sweep and plugged the old ones with caulk. I would probably recommend drilling new holes in most cases, as it is the best way to ensure that the bottom of the sweep makes a complete seal with the bottom of the door frame. The screw holes on the sweep are oblong to allow for a little bit of vertical adjustment as well. Anyways, the sweep blends in really well with the storm door and at the end of my little project, I ended up with what looks (in my opinion) just as good as a brand new storm door.

Size doesn't matter
This comes in 2 pieces for both sides of the door but only one really matters. Both doors we used this on were too thick to apply both pieces. The one with the actual weatherizing strips screws on the door. It functions fine without the other piece applied, thankfully. This is great for rentals were proper fixes aren't aplenty. Do note though, if you have plush carpet in front of the door this is going on, it will open harder.

Way too big for a storm door
This will not fit a storm door like it claims to. It will probably work on a regular door just fine.

Had to Drill Some Holes
I was a bit apprehensive when I first received it, but after reading the directions and looking closely at the broken one on my door, I figured it out. No surprise that I had to drill some holes. That was the most difficult part, because if just one hole is too high, the bottom will not be low enough. I did not remove the door, I just lied down on the floor to drill.

Not great.
Two piece not a 1 piece.

Didn’t fit.
Definitely not a one size fits all. It was too long and too narrow. Did what we could do by cutting with tin snips. Even though it worked well for the length, the width wasn’t working.
