This blade appears to be well made from fairly thick metal and should be very duable

I purchased this for an older edger which had a simple single blade which had been replaced several times. This blade should last much longer and seems to take less effort to advance than the original single blade. I had overlooked the bore size which I believe is 5/8" as opposed to the blade that was replaced which had a bore size of 1/2". I had to procure a bushing to install this blade in place of the original blade.

Better than the orginal straight blade

My original blade was like many other owners, it used to stop if it met any resistance, The new 4 blade is smoother, as well as allows me to get the job done in less time without stopping. I plan on buying a second blade as back up,as they do wear out.

Cuts great

So much better then a two blade. Easy to install and cuts great. My edging looks way better now and it's so much easier as well

Noticeable improvement over straight blade

Needed to replace the straight blade on my Troy-Bilt TB516EC. I originally thought about going with a 3 point but found this 4 point and ordered it. I am extremely satisfied. I feel like my edger is running smoother, better and more efficient. Before I would have to move back and forth to get a clean cut and the new blade, which I did not sharpen, gets it done properly with the first pass. After a few more uses, if it holds up the way I hope it does, i'll order a spare just to have on stand-by for the future.

Initially blunt instrument

As noted, these blades are not sharpened when delivered. The metal is relatively soft and has (at least for my edger - no edge guide) gained somewhat of an edge to it after 5 or 6 uses edging approximately 300 linear feet each time. Considering what I've paid for original Craftsman blades in the past, this is a very good value.

Chop Chop Haircut

Great blade. Tears through the dirt and grass a lot easier than a regular edger blade, which makes it easier on your body.
