Works well with exceptions

Bracket is well built, but has a few drawbacks. The lock and ride shaft is extremely tight in the bed holes of my 2012 Ranger 800 XP, even when unwound to its most loose point. This makes it nearly impossible to move after installation. I needed to move the bracket to a different location and the shaft had to be driven out from below after i had to disassemble the bracket. When I did finally get it out, I lubed it with soapy water, thinking it would help in the new location, but it was the same, and had to be driven in the hole with a block of wood at the new location also. It was again so tight, that the bracket is still not completely seated flush with the bed. The splined ring that allows tilting of the bracket really should have finer splines for more range of adjustment, because once the gun boot is installed in the bracket, space in the bed for tilting is very limited.

Works ok

Like the way it goes on and off easy. Shakes quite a bit when on rough ground so I put a bungee cord on one end.

KOLPIN GUN BOOT WORKS GREAT

This gun boot works great and provides a solid, safe way to transport my rifle on my Polaris Ranger. Would highly recommend this combination products.

Mounted this on my Polaris Ranger. Keeps my gun from getting banged up while riding in the woods.

could be better

Needs 2 plungers I ride around fields and nearly had it come completely off of my ranger. By the way I use channel locks to tighten down the plunger. Update I purchased a second plunger and drilled two new holes to use both plungers and it works great.

Fit and Finish Acceptable

The bracket fit fine in the box of my Ranger 800. It will require some foam tape to stop it from pivoting in the mount. But, I am content with the overall fit. The original box it came in was damaged and fortunately, no pieces were missing.

Excellent purchase

After assembling the Boottector Bracket, it fitted very well on my Polaris Ranger 500 EFI. I truly recommend this Kolpin 20351 Kxp Boottector Bracket

Great product. Getting gun boot in was a bit ...

Great product. Getting gun boot in was a bit difficult. Had to use a bit of force to get it to sit in the bracket. But all said and done I love how easy it is to put on and take off of bike. Would buy again.
