Heavy Duty

Surprisingly heavy. Very easy to install. It is really adjustable. The only downside is that it is a little tight in adjusting angle and you have to almost completely unscrew the adjustment screw to get it to adjust to the right angle. That said it is really heavy duty and holds heavy lawn equipment with no problem.

Another example of "you get what you pay for", in a very positive way.

I alsmost opted for less expensive product similar to this, but then remembered my last experience with a product like this where I did opt for the cheapo one. It was junk and didn't last. This is every bit worth the money. Heavy-duty, quality hardware, easy to understand instructions. Pivoting option is nice too.

Best ATV accessory hooks I've ever had.

These things are burly, big, and heavy duty. I have used them for firearms and a variety of tools ranging from shovels, to sledge hammers, to trimmers, etc. The grips hold everything firmly and away from the machine so no damage occurs. A few comments in response to the bad reviews. The base of these grips is aluminum, which when mounted on plastic will scratch the plastic. That is just common sense. A cheap, simple solution is available at any hardware store. Buy a neoprene washer and place that in between the clamp and the ATV deck. No scratches. Also, the grips ARE big. This is an advantage as it keeps the cargo away from the ATV. They also rotate on the central shaft so you can fold them horizontal to the machine when not in use. This reduces the grip height so they aren't in the way. Lastly, they attach firmly to the lock and ride. Read the instructions for the grips and your Polaris lock n ride before installation. If you mount them correctly they aren't going anywhere.

Spend the extra $ and buy these, you won't be disappointed! Cast metal material and heavy. They mounted to my 850 Polaris Ultimate Trail in the supplied holes with ease...

Alternative ski rack

I was frustrated with attempting to find an exterior solution for my ski transport on my small 2 door wrangler where the ski barely fits inside. I was almost about about to come up with a janky DIY idea until my desperation led me to this product. Well it is as if this thing was specifically made for me.

These are BEEFY mounts!

I ordered a pair of these Rhino Grip Pro mounts after the Rhino Grip XL mounts I had on my ATV exploded when I hit a bump in cold weather (they were made of plastic, should have never trusted them to begin with). These installed in about 10 minutes with the supplied Allen wrench and a 13mm socket. To say these are sturdy is a gross understatement. When the product specs stated they weigh 7 pounds, they were NOT KIDDING. My old mounts were on top of the front rack in case they broke, my auger wouldn't fall in front of the ATV and get run over. I installed the new Rhino Grip Pro's on the front bar of the front rack, as I would have to total my ATV in order for them to break. This placement allows me to once again use the front rack storage bin on my ATV for ice fishing. These mounts are AWESOME! They are pricey, but well worth it to ensure my auger isn't damaged!

Perfect fit

Fit like a glove on the front rack on my 2021 XP 1000 trail edition highly recommended ! If someone says it won’t work on the lock and ride system they’re wrong mine fit perfect..

Great for rifle on quad.

I used these mounts on a week long deer hunt in Wyoming and they held my rifle steady the whole time. They are heavy duty and well built. My only complaint is the Polaris Lock and Ride system does not compliment the sturdiness of the mounts. It took a few times to get them tight in the holes. I had to flip one of the rubber grommets and that seemed to help. The never came out but did rattle a little bit, I think that is only the fault of Polaris and not because of the mounts. Great product.

Solid Mount

I broke afew cheaper brackets on my quad. I used this mount to carry and axe and shovel off the rear rack of the quad. The thing is super solid. You could just about winch the quad with it. Will definitely buy this again. It's pricey but worth it.

Solid construction

Heavy duty, installed quick and easy. Will be leaving for hunting in a couple days an going to put them to the test. Update: back from hunting and they performed fantastically. I took my machine all over the place and the racks held tight and even had enough grip and room I could wrap my rifle in a soft case and it would still fit in the Kolpin grips. I highly recommend them.

Grip tres robuste et versatile

Ces Grip sont très robuste, ce qui était requis dans mon cas. L’installation est facile. Deux petites contraintes. La première, il y a deux kit de vis pour l’installation, des courtes, et des longues. Un kit intermédiaire aurait été apprécié, mais cela n’empêche pas l’installation. Le deuxième, même en installant les caoutchoucs et en serrant les vis très fort, le montage tourne lorsqu’il est monté sur des pare-chocs et que l’appareil déposé sur celui-ci a un peu de poids. La solution, j’ai installé un côté sur une croisé des barres (voir photo). Des attaches sont fournis et ajustables pour assurer le maintien de l’appareil en place.. Je recommande...

Get the better ones from the start.

I originally purchased the less expensive Rhino Grips and attached them to the roll bar of my Polaris RZR 1000, but ended up having to take them back as they broke under the stress of an ice fishing auger. I have had zero issues with the Pro-Universal Mount Carrying Racks and am very happy with the purchase. I would recommend spending the extra money on the better ones from the beginning.
