Works decently, good tool, manufacturer packaging need to be better.
Again, greenworks products are coming in poorly packaged in their origina boxes. I am not entirely happy with that. The quality control on that has not been great. That being said, this is a good impact driver if you are looking for something to help place or remove screws. The first thing I will say about this is that it does the job you need and it is pretty strong. The impact driver will get the job done pretty quickly and without much effort. The first thing I will say to take it slow when starting just to get a feel for the power of the impact driver. This driver is about the size of a standard drill gun with a shorter neck. This one came with several different screw heads. To installed the screw head, it is not like a drill where you twist. It is a push down and slide in. It holds the screw in place when you are trying to screw screws in. Once the tip is in, you release the latch and lock the middle piece. It is not going anywhere and will holds pretty well. It does not fall off or anything. All the attachments are there but there is not exactly a case to put the screw tips in which is a bit annoying. It does come with two batteries and they are both pre-charged and it lasted me about three hours each (on a full charge) before needing to recharge (I had held the button down to drain the power). If you are just using this from time to time, I expect the battery will take some time to drain. There is a charging cable to charge your battery. The nice thing is that you can use one battery while charging the other so you can swap them as needed. You can plug the battery in and it takes about three hours to fully charge. The handle is easy to grip. It is is not something that can easily slip out of your hand. The impact driver does a good job screws for multiple surface (short of concrete). It may take some effort and do not over squeeze the trigger as you can strip the screw if not careful. Overall this is a good impact driver to have if you are looking for a strong screw driver essentially. It does do a good job with placing and removing screws as well as bolts if you have the right attachment. The only down side is that there is no real container to put accessories in. Also, the vibrations for that long may actually hurt your wrist so take it easy when using this drill for long periods. The biggest down side is that the last few green work products including this one have looked poorly packaged by the manufacturer and look used.

Quality, entry level impact driver.
There aren’t many impact drivers at this price point, especially with two batteries, that’s why I bought it. I’m not a professional, this is for around the house carpentry and repairs. This checks all the boxes for an inexpensive impact driver, at least for my needs. I was half expecting the grip to be rigid plastic, but it’s some kind of soft but durable rubber, feels good in your hand. The driver as a whole is hefty, but not unwieldy, it feels like it’s made with quality metal. I’d rather a driver be a little heavy than have it be made of cheap plastic and feel like a toy. The driver sounds different than any others I have ever heard, that’s not a bad thing, it doesn’t sound broken in any way, just different. Despite the difference in sound it’s very powerful. I haven’t had any issues driving any fasteners yet, they go in like a hot knife though snow. The drill has 3 power settings, displayed on the bottom of the handle above the battery, represented by 3 green lights. I haven’t needed to use anything but the lowest power setting so far. The charger can charge BOTH batteries simultaneously, but I haven’t needed that feature yet, the drill has finished all jobs before a single battery was depleted, thus far. The quick change 1/4” hex chuck is really nice, I hate having to use the old style twist chuck that always comes lose. There are a couple of different versions of this drill to purchase, I got the cheaper one that comes with the driver, 2 batteries and charger ONLY. There’s a different one that comes with a carrying bag and some driver bits. I already had a tool bag and bits, so it was unnecessary for me. For my needs this is a 5/5 star product. It’s on the lower end of the cost spectrum, it’s got all of the standard drill features of much more expensive name brands, and most importantly it works well.

It’s hard to lose a green drill…
I like the impact driver. It’s small enough to easily carry and use. I have had an issue with the bits getting stuck in the key after a lot of use. Perhaps just a wear and tear issue. It’s my 3rd, so it must be doing pretty well overall.
