Works well on hard wood floors
I have a baby gait that sections off part of a room and the middle of the fair would move and I was worried it would scratch my floors. I bought a few of these and put them on now the gait doesn’t move and my floors are safe. Would recommend if you have tile or hardwood

Amazing!!
I have had metal walk-through gates (with the little latched door in them) in my home, on my hardwood floors, for at least the last 8 years to corral pets and kids. Over that time the metal of the gates has rubbed back and forth over the hardwood, causing small scratches in some places. In one place, where the gate is crucial to keep pets and kids from having unrestricted access to an exterior door, small stones get tracked in from outside, catch under the metal gate, and have been grinding away at my floors until they were black with dirt and grooves were dug into the floor. What to do? Must have the gate to keep the dogs from running out when the door is open. Just refinished the floors and desperate to protect that investment. Lo and behold I found these. Only bought one at first, concerned from the look of them that they would be a hard plastic. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rubber, which seems strong and durable (time will tell) and the fact they fit my metal gate perfectly. Have since loaded up on three more sets for the various gates. For the larger doorways, and the gate that sees highest use with kids sometimes body slamming through and dogs jumping on it, where it wiggles back and forth a little across the floor and rocks are trapped, I am using three of these protectors rather than just two as shown. Time will tell how they hold up but I can already see that they are protecting the floors from the metal of my gates and providing additional friction to help hold the gate in place along the base to keep it from moving forward and back as the gate's door is opened and closed. I am very excited to see how they hold up. From what I can tell the design at least is basically perfect so as long as they endure for a reasonable length of time, I call this money well spent. I wish it hadn't taken me so long to discover that this product even existed. I consider the negative reviews that the glow in the dark is not bright enough basically negligible. It glows a little, it's more than good enough.

Worked well for my purposes
I got two sets of these for a pet's room divide barrier about eight feet long, with a gate in the middle. My issue was that the floor was not perfectly flat, while the bottom of the segmented room divider was quite rigid - thus, some parts, including the rail at the bottom of the gate section, did not touch the floor. This made the whole thing unsteady and it would move back and forth easily when bumped or a dog jumped up on it. It also kept the gate from lining up properly and latching dependably when closed. I slipped one of these over the bottom rail at the low spots, where the floor/bottom rail gaps existed, including two at the base of the gate. Like magic, it now stays put, feels more sturdy, and the issues with the gate closing properly, while not 100% fixed, are much improved. The clear protector (actually a milky white, translucent rubber) slipped easily over the bottom rail (had to take the barrier apart to do it, of course) and fit snugly enough that there is no danger of them sliding around and out of position. I'd been puzzling over a solution for awhile, and these solved the problem quickly and easily.

Simple and easy to install under gate but glow in dark may vary
This was an easy install and the design made it for the medium soft rubber protector to easily slide under the fence. The bottom of the protector has multiple little round bumps to offload it from the hardwood floors or whatever floor you have. Only downside is the glow in dark feature which for me didn’t seem to work. So just an FYI in case you’re expecting a very bright glow, didn’t get that. Otherwise, still a VERY USEFUL tool for the home!

Liked this baby gate stopper/floor protector - Well built & overall good quality!
Loved the quality and functionality of this product. A great baby gate stopper/floor protector and can easily recommend this to any parent as this is well sized and well made with thoughtful design. We decided not to install as if now since as we are waiting for our baby to be home but we did open everything and checked the parts and can say it is well built. My 2 cents below: Pros : - Great build quality - Looks very good in a subtle tone. Goes well at home without being flashy - Comes as a pack of 2 - Would protect the floor with great efficiency and also acts as a stopper too - Installation is super easy and won't take much time - Glows in the dark for better visibility at the night Cons: - None that I see for this price and the quality
