Guinea Pigs Like It

It keeps the guinea pigs occupied and they seem to enjoy chewing on it. I haven't tried this toy with rabbits yet, but I don't think I will. Our rabbits are more aggressive than the guinea pigs when it comes to toys, so I don't think this would be worth buying for them. Maybe for bunnies under 6 months of age depending on breed and size. Definitely worth buying for guinea pigs.

Cute wooden toy.

My piggies did not seem to be interested in playing or chewing on this as cute as it was. Not sure if they did not care for the taste? Easy to hang. Cute decoration for the cage.

This is the best thing you’re able to get for your Guinea pig. It is durable and lasts a few months before breaking. It is reliable and really great to buy especially for the price and how useful it is.

Inexpensive product for Guinea pigs

Found this at a good price. The Guinea pigs started to chew at it within minutes of hanging it in there cage. Hopefully they don’t chew the whole thing up real quick but for $2. If it goes quickly it didn’t cost much.

Perfect for my kit who chews everything

I have a few of these in my chins cage. Chewing helps maintain her tooth length and is nice for whens she's bored. However there were a few instances where she chewed the toy off of the key chain but hey. What are you gonna do

Didn't Last Long!

I wanted to buy my chinchilla a new toy because he all ways destroying them but that's his idea of having fun so I'm all ways looking for good toys which he can play with. When it arrived I was expecting it to bigger it's an okay size a bit small I think but when I hanged it up he was happy with it but within in an hour it fell apart after he was chewing it, it's an okay toy he still has the blocks from the toy however they just sit in the cage instead of hanging up.

Chinchilla loved it at first, got bored of it afterwards

Bought this for my Chinchilla, as she loved chewing on wood products (as many Chins do). She loved it at first, and went to town on it once we installed it. However, she got bored of it very quickly, something that surprised us, as she normally reduces wood items to virtually nothing very quickly. Not sure if this will be the same for all Chins, but this was our experience. Aside from that, I was happy enough with the purchase and would recommend it to try at least once. For the price, you cannot go wrong.

Not for us

I bought this for my two chinchillas. The kabobs are easier because they don’t lose them like untethered chews! I have bought these twice, the second time by mistake. What I don’t like is that the core is a wood dowel. This means I can’t refill it with other wood chews, and the chinchillas chew through this like nothing. This product is only in use for ~3 days before it’s all wood chips, so this doesn’t work for us. I’ll make sure it’s the refillable metal style next time! If you have single chinchilla or aren’t sure if your pet will like the kabob style chew, this could be a good product for you!

My girls liked this

I have three Chinchillas and nothing I get them lasts very long. My one girl even chews from the top to break it off the cage first then it's a free for all, some chews they can't manage to get through quick and don't bother finishing later but these were small enough that I didn't find any left over pieces, just chewed up toothpick like remains.

Too Much Dye

Waaay too much dye. I wanted to cry when I realised how much had come off on my hands just from handling it, knowing thousands of little critters are ingesting that. I rinsed it under hot water for 5+ minutes and dye was still coming off as I toweled it dry. I'll certainly be sticking to all natural weaved toys moving forward.
