A MUST-HAVE in your Kitchen

So I am a Dad who cooks a lot. I bought this about eight years ago because I got serious about making rice and other Latin dishes. I ask my friends to give me their recetas and I try my best. It took a minute to get used to the caldero's light weight and weird handles, but for rice this is it. I've tried rice in all sorts of pots but this is the real deal. I still use a ceramic/cast iron dutch oven for chili or guisado, but I do occasionally do some stews and curry in the caldero. Works great for all. Oh yeah, the pot and the lid rings loud like a bell- so you might wake up the house if you're washing this pot early in the morning. :)

Feels like grandma’s kitchen

This caldero is a great addition to my outdoor kitchen, from rice, stews to soup this is the way to go. Cooking with this reminds me of my grandma cooking outside for all of us cousins, somehow the food tastes different when cooked in this pot. Awesome.

Its the only one I use for rice and I have a dozen pots. Something about the shape and the material that makes the best rice!

Small but sturdy

It is smaller than we thought, but it works great. we mainly use it to cook our rice and it gets the job done! Very sturdy.

Nothing but good things to say about this baby. I have a larger version of this same pot which led me to buy the smaller. I love cooking rice in it as well as Gumbo. The lid fits perfectly. Awesome!

Not great

Dislike because after you season the pot in the oven the top doesn’t fit anymore. The direction’s state not to put the top in the oven so now I’m stuck with a pot and no top. I had to use aluminum foil when I made rice, it didn’t not stick but still Not happy with product. I am going to return.

Love it!

A pop far so good! A bit bigger than I anticipated but it’s ok. Made some stew in this pot and it was perfection. No stains or discolouration so far and it was easy to clean. Would recommend.
