Excellent noise cancelling
Does what they should, cancel noise. I removed 1 star since they are somewhat difficult to mount on the helmet

Two right ears
Unfortunately, I saw two muffs in the package and threw away the packaging before trying to attach them to my respirator. When I did, it turns out there were two right ear muffs, so I will have to order again to achieve my hearing protection goals. It would be awesome to be able to order two left muffs! Lesson learned - trust, but verify. 3M has a great reputation, so I expect a lot.

Great PAPR earmufffs
I like these a lot. They are comfortable and work well. Only drawback is they are not designed to be mounted and unmounted repeatedly. Not a big deal, but when I'm not using them I still have to clean them. Very easy to raise and lower as needed. Also, the method of mounting could have been better. Not sure a single screw in plastic was the best design. I'll update if I run into issues with it.

Comfortable, Quiet, and Perfect Fit
Absolutely outstanding quality. Fit PERFECTLY on the 3M Versaflo M100/M300 helmets (I have the M307), and seal PERFECTLY around my ears! I have had three other powered respirator systems, but this is the first one with earmuffs that fit and work 100% as they should. Installation is easy and instructions are provided on the box. The earmuffs are labeled for "right" and "left" (with an X and O, respectively). The M100/M300 helmets have screw attachment holes molded in, so it is just a matter of lining up the holes and installing two included screws on each side. The earmuffs are easy to "click" into the outward (resting) or inward (sealed on ears) position. When in the outward position, the mounts also rotate back and up to put the earmuffs behind and above the helmet. They add about 9oz to the helmet weight. Comfortable and quiet, with a 24db noise reduction rating. You can't go wrong with 3M and Peltor!

You need a pair if you use a Versaflo respirator
The Versaflo respirator system is great, but the headgear interferes with other earmuff-style hearing protection. So, either you use ear plugs or you buy these. I tried the earplugs for a while, but finally sprung for these. They are more effective in reducing noise than the earplugs I was using, and are more comfortable. They are easy to pull and swing up out of the way, so they rest on the helmet, when you don't need the hearing protection and want to be able to hold a conversation. (The only thing I can imagine that would be better is if you could get these in a model that includes microphones and electronics that would allow you to hear conversations at the same time as they block out dangerously high noise levels, such as are sold for hunting and target shooting.)

Great addition to my mask
I added these to my forced air respirator. They are fantastic. No more putting on different equipment, it’s all on one unit.

Easy to add to the versa-flo helmet
Easy to add to the versa-flo helmet. The mechanism to snap them to your head is so stiff you feel like you are going to break it at first but they soften up and are quite convenient. They will make your ears feel sweaty so I would suggest not wearing them all day, you will need foam or some kind of ear buds and pop these on top when things get really loud. Also a minor thing, if you need to back the screws out the Philips head strips quickly and they need replacement which is surprising considering how little force is needed to screw into plastic.

Attached to my 3M 300 series shield easily, and they work incredibly well. Definitely recommended
