saved a lot with this item

Burner fit well, and assembled easily on my existing grill. The pipe size was just right, and the flexible tubes went easily into the grill controls. The burner came with some legs to hold it on the grill body, so it went in rather easily. I was looking at several hundred dollars for a new grill, and probably not made as well as the one I had, plus the hassle of getting rid of the old one. I also bought ceramic shields and a stainless grade to place existing tile briquettes on, so all of these things together make it almost like a new grill.

Have drill or pilot screws handy along with added half hour.

Product as described and seller just fine. The thing could have been assembled according to the clear directions in perhaps ten minutes. It took me three to four times the time. Small problem. The burner comes with predrilled holes for the plug screws, cover plate screws and screws to attach the "gas pipes" to the grill. Screws are provided, but certainly not a lot to spare. "This isn't going to take long at all!" turned into frustration. The holes are too tight for anything but real force to cut the hole to the thread size of the screws — but the Phillips heads are not really hardened. The first one, a "job" of thirty seconds if good fit, showed signs of stripping the head with the force required. Ok, maybe a bad hole, try another and fix that one later. Every hole but one was a brute force, possible strip job. Drill broken out. Hardened head hex screw just a bit larger found in collection. Forty-five minutes later, after drilling and "finishing" with pilot screw all the provided screws were in and tight. Not a design flaw — a producer blunder. Typical of "throw things from different providers without strict specs" together mess. The "legs" are also not so great, points instead of firm on grill bottom. The springs to hold the gas "pipes" to the grill are a bit klutzy, not at all as firm as the clamps that were original. Otherwise we will see with performance.

Received earlier then expected looks like very high quality going to install this weekend material is way better then the crap Home Depot or Lowes is selling..... total size is 19.75 inches

They fit, they work, price was ok

They were easy to install however the inexperienced would have had some trouble installing the first one. I need three since I have a 3 burner grill. Word to the wish. Check to see you can get the old ones out first. On some grill models there is a bracket you have to take the off and after 5 years of use all the screws were rusted to the point I couldn't use a screw driver to remove them. I got them off with some ole' farm-boy work and tenacity but had to replace two screws with small bolts. Works fine now. They fit just fine once I got it all apart and it went back together fast. The work great. The grill is as good as new.

Quality material

The Tube is well constructed. My only reason for deducting a star is because there was no hole to insert the static starter wire. Also my original tube had two rows of gas burner holes (to side burn) and this has only one row.

It works but not as well as the original

I ordered this to replace the original main burner that went out. The main problem now is that it doesn't light as quickly as the original even though the air plenum is adjusted to the same size as the original and the candles are the same size when lit. Something just isn't right. Also the side burners don't light off the main as easily any more. It takes a minute or two to light them and scares me that the top will blow off the grill now.

This saved my BBQ from the skip. What else do you do when the parts begin to corrode except throw it and get another. Not now. Only down side is that it appears to give a smaller flame and delivery from New York, USA took longer than I expected. Having said that I think I will be purchasing another four of them at the end of the season to replace all the burners and give another lease of life to it.

Does the job

The original burner had severely corroded away and this was easy to assemble and fit. Had to drill a single hole to locate it and then just slide the tubes to the gas fittings. Only two niggles in that for my fitting with wider tube spacing the holes are on the upper side so had to fettle the igniter to make it work and secondly as an earlier reviewer points out, the flames seem a bit weak with bigger yellow tips than I wanted. I think that this is due to the gas holes being a bit bigger than the old burner. Either way it works and I didn't need to buy a new BBQ!

The flexible hoses work great, easy to fit to different BBQs

I am very pleased with this replacement burner. I have gone through 2 or 3 BBQs before because the burners just rotted away after a couple of seasons. They were made out of just mild steel so didn't last long at all. At the time I couldn't find any replacement burners as such or they were just the old mild steel ones. This one from Grill Pro is stainless steel so should last a lot longer. The flexible hoses work really well. I was worried that it wouldn't fit my BBQ but the hoses can be adjusted to suit, different angles or different lengths. The instruction is very good and so as the quality of the burners.

I was very pleased with the product that came with assembly instructions. it is now fitted into the BBQ and awaits the time we can invite friends around then we can give it a full test!
