Awesome!

Sharp, easy to clean, easy to hold, works great on tomatoes and strawberries. I can process so much more food is a shorter amount of time. I don't know why I used a paring knife for so long.

Tomato corer & melon baller all in one!

Looked EVERYWHERE locally and could not find a combo like this. I already have TOO much junk lol I don't need 2 separate tools. I love it!

I purchased this because I was canning tomatoes and I saw someone on YouTube use this to take the core out of the tomato. It is PERFECT for this job! It works really well! The teeth grab on and neatly remove the core. Highly recommend this tool.

Handy kitchen tool

I use this very handy kitchen tool to help me thane the inside choke out of artichokes. It makes the job of removing them so easy! And I get to enjoy my nonnas Sicilian artichoke recipe in no time!!

Great for cleaning out artichokes.

We had an old one of these and tried it when cleaning out artichokes. We used the serrated side and it made the task so easy. I haven't found a tool specifically for that purpose but this works great. I am going to order another to keep as a spare.

MUST HAVE!!!

absolutely a MUST HAVE item in the kitchen! I love it so much and use it all the time on my tomatoes and strawberries to core them. I haven't used the melon baller side yet. but will do so at some point. I loved it so much, I bought my mother one too for Christmas cos she eats a lot of tomatoes. it's such a time saver!

Not worth it

This melon baller is extremely poorly made. the two ends are (poorly) welded to metal arms which don't extend through the handle. As a result, each time you use it with any degree of "oomph", you risk either the end coming off at the weld, or the metal arm breaking off. Even with very little effort, you can see the metal arms bending. After one use in ripe fruit both ends were bent. I have very little doubt that if it was used with any degree of force - say on less-than-fully-ripe fruit, it would break. Don't even think of using it on something hard like ice cream. I am going to do what I should have done - find something sturdy, even if it comes at a higher price. It will no doubt cost less in the long run and result in less frustration.

Broke using the first time

I used this for the first time today to core tomatoes. I got about four in and the corer broke right off the handle. It did work pretty good up until it broke. Poor quality. Luckily still within time to return
