Garage Door Bell

I took 1 star off only because I didn’t need this. Mine started working and I’m not sure if this was my problem to begin with. Thank you Fast Shipping however I accidentally went into the wrong store. Now I either need a label or ups code

When doorbell does not work, this did!

I wanted to wire in an extra open/close button and had a spare door bell thinking that would be the same thing but nope, I couldn't use the doorbell in conjunction with the wall console due to the lighted button. Only one would work at a time. I found this and say only one person trying to do what I was doing so I gave this a try and yep, this worked. Note you only get the button, you will need to buy your own wire separately. I added this into the same terminal as the existing button and now both work as expected!

Easy to install, replaced my broken one

I've had a Genie Aladdin garage door opener for 13 years. The switch for one door has always been a little stubborn...pressing on the button didn't feel smooth and many times had to be pressed a few times before the door would respond. It's gotten worse over the years, so finally bought this universal non-lit one. My switch for the other door is lit, and while I could've gotten a lit one, I wasn't 100% sure if my system is a Series II (that's the only lit option for sale). Kept it simple. The switch installed easily. Just disconnected the corresponding wires from the old one and connected to this new switch. It's the same size, so was able to use the exact same screw holes. Fit perfectly. Don't love the brown color...mine was not beige like the picture, but, I don't care about that in my garage. Works smoothly now. No finger strain or stress trying to open the door! Switch and two screws are the only items in the box. No wires or instructions included. Looked up instructions online to make sure I understood which wires went where.

Works on Wayne Dalton door opener

I used this to replace the broken terrible Wayne Dalton switch. It's a simple two wire install. The switch is nothing fancy, just a momentary contact switch. The new switch came with the mounting screws. This switch is not lighted, and neither is the real Wayne Dalton switch. This switch does not include the option to turn on the light on the opener, so if that is something you want this won't do it. This switch is much stronger and does not rely on a flexible piece of plastic like the wayne dalton switch. Install took five minutes including finding a screwdriver. This switch is also much cheaper.

Thank you for the product but the problem with the old product was a loose wire, as a result I do not need the push button opener. I am however very impressed and grateful that I do not need to return the product. I will return the product if necessary but it makes it very convenient not to have to package and mail it back. Thank you.

Momentary activation button

All I needed was a momentary switch to activate a garage door opener and this little guy filled the bill perfectly. I have the usual push button for the opener next to the entrance into the house but I wanted one to be next to the garage door on the inside and I did not want to spend $20 for a big white square button that did the same job as this $8 one.

Works great with my new garage door opener!

These worked great for my new garage door motor even when the installer told me I wasn't able to use more switches than the one they supplied. I was able to wire in two of these switches in places that made it more convenient for me to operate the door. A spool of light gauge 2 wire similar to phone wire was needed to do this
