They sent me the wrong axle and a warehouse worker at this company said they did not make any other size until I told him to send me another box so I could wrap this up, send it back and then I was calling my bank to cancel the payment, at that moment he said oh, we have another size axle, hmmmmm. The machine gets filthy inside with all the oil splattering against the glass and the popcorn falls all over the bottom of the machine even with a big bowl to catch it, the popper itself is just too small and the popcorn they send is awful, Orville Reddenbacher is the best popcorn, it's easy to put together and the machine looks nice, I'll keep it for storage and a conversation piece. It's much more easy to pop it on the stove. I got this because of the reviews but I did not have their good experience. After waiting 3 weeks for the right part, it laying on it's side in my dining room for that long period of time, I would not tell anyone to buy it.

Fun, whimsical, and meets our needs

It's fun, whimsical, and it meets our needs - enough for two people to have a big bowl or one person with a 1-gal. bag for the next day (which is surprisingly good after a day; in some ways even better than fresh). It's easy to use and pops most of the kernels, but there are always more than I expect there to be. My unit came damaged during shipping (dents in the back metal plate and silver instead of gold-colored bolts), but they gave a $50 credit, which was fair. Altogether, a great product for home use, and you could easily serve a party by just doing more batches.

Great popcorn maker

Recently purchased this machine. Was going to purchase the maximax machine but there's a hefty shipping fee associated with it. Ordered next-day for this machine through Prime (cost only 3.50) and it arrived the next day on time. I couldn't believe it actually took 1 day! The shipping container was in pristine shape also. Installation was very easy. Took maybe 20 minutes. I've seen another review where they said that the kettle looks more like a 6oz rather than a 8oz. I don't know about that, but I used a 8oz all-in-one popcorn kit and it popped all the popcorn with ease. Very few old maids. Extremely satisfied with purchase. Looks great in my media room.

Ordered 2 x missing axles on both

I ordered the first cart for a Christmas present for my parents and it did not come with an axle for the wheels. They wanted me to ship the complete item back but it was a Christmas present so I ended up keeping it and explaining the issue. We had to fabricate an axle to get the wheels on the cart with a long threaded bolt (used as the axle) we purchased from Home Depot. I ordered a second cart for my office, and it also did not come with an axle

Popcorn Maker

Makes good popcorn and it is fairly easy to assemble. Wrench for assembly is provided as well as a scoop and salt shaker. This was not noted in the item description on Amazon so I ended up buying these items as well. As a result have an extra scoop and shaker but this is not a big deal. This machine is pretty heavy as well when it is on the stand. Kettle is removeable as well as the upper box which is on a spring retention system for easier cleaning.

Arrived with a small dent on machine and wrong color. Comes black and silver, no gold on it at all

We love it ????

We bought our popcorn machine a year ago and it still works great ,we use it a lot and we have not had any issues with it, after each use I make sure I clean it then I wipe it down making sure not to leave any moisture behind to prevent rust.
