Egg separator

My wife use to struggle with the eggs every time she made a lemon meringue pie. I couldn't find an egg separator in any of the stores. So I looked on Amazon and I found this one. She loves it! The shipping was more expensive than the separator, but it was worth it!

It's Okay

Whenever I make something that needs an egg to be separated, this comes in handy. It does it's job, and it doesn't break easily. The reason that it lost 2 stars is because: -washing it is a hassle. the orange part and the white part can be taken apart, and you need to for washing it because there could be some egg stuck in between the crevices. but taking it apart is difficult, and after washing, putting it back together is also hard. I'm not sure about this if you use a dish washer, because I hand wash all my dishes. when separating the egg, the egg white has a hard time actually separating from the egg. sometimes there is too much clumped up so it can't get through the holes. Even so, it's still useful, and it does it's job. so, 3 stars.

Cut outs are a little shallow, they need to be bigger to let the separation happen quickly. Sometime I have to tap it or "help" it along

Does the job for $4

Not the sturdiest product, I wouldn't crack the eggs on the egg separator but it does the job. It has a little extension opposite the handle, but it's basically useless unless you're sitting it on top of a cup. Does the job though, I don't know where the get away with saying it retails for 19.99. If you paid 19.99 for it please contact me because I have a Louis vittillon hand bag from canal street and it's yours for $100

Not the best egg white separator

It is very hard and takes long to shake the egg white through the holes. Not the best. Can get by if you have time and patience.

Utile

Tres utile lorsqu'ont cuisine des gateaux et autres, Souvent les oeufs sont garder au refrigerateur et lorsqu'ont doit separer le Blanc du jaune, c'est assez difficile, avec cette ustensils j'ai aucune difficulter a le faire. Prend peu de remgement et se metoie facilement. Heureuse de mon achat.
