Easy to install
I discovered the “pros” who installed my toilet 5 years ago did it wrong — my subfloor got soaked, rotted and became home to termites before the tiles directly in front of the commode collapsed. Being retired and on limited income, I decided to fix everything myself. It was obvious they had repositioned the toilet once the wax seal was in place thus breaking whatever seal was intended. Therefore, I opted for this waxless seal. Wow! It was SO easy to install. The directions were very clear and easy to understand, and the way the seals fix over the bolts gives me peace of mind knowing that they didn’t slide away while I was lifting the toilet into place. The toilet seemed to sit a little high at first, but once everything was bolted into place, it’s solid as a rock. I highly recommend this product.

So if you have ever pulled up a toilet and saw what is underneath you will understand why these are better. Because its a rubber compound it will move and twist (distort) and come back The wax will not as much and will begin leaking resulting mostly in odors in the toilet area. The bad is these are as much as 500% more in cost beyond the basic wax ring. In my opinion, these should be a standard, which will reduce the cost overall between vendors and increase safety.

These work- no more wax!
Pleasantly surprised how well this worked. For a replacement application, you will need to remove all wax including scraping the top of the flange clean, then further cleaning with paper towel to remove all wax residue. There are two pieces. The first piece goes against the toilet and has a rubber funnel to carry waste down below the flange into your waste line. The second included piece is a spacer sponge-donut. If your flange is more than a 1/4" above the floor you won't need the spacer. If it's just slightly above floor level you may or may not need the second donut sponge gasket. At floor level or slightly lower you need the spacer. If it's more than 1/4" below floor level you will need to order a second sponge gasket spacer. Sounds complicated, but not really. And no leaks to report in two installations.

Easy and convenient to install
My husband and I have been remodeling and fixing up my deceased moms mobile home and we purchased to help install this for the new toilet that we purchased since the wax one we got was way too tall/ high that the toilet sear wasn’t sitting right . My husband installed this fantastic better than wax toilet mount / placer super fast and without any complications . It was super easy, convenient and worth the money spent . We are very happy with the decision to go with this one instead of the wax one . I highly recommend this product to people who want or need to install a toilet.. the wax ones are awful and messy .

Not for all flanges
It came quickly, not damaged, and looked as it appeared on the site. I guess not all toilet flanges are a standard size. The flange we have is more narrow so the rubber part of the ring that is supposed to be inserted into the pipe was too large. Wish it would have worked.

Don’t listen to the naysayers!
Every so often I venture out and try something “new” to test the “tried and true” things. Wax seals were the pinnacle of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” However, if wax seals aren’t something that you’re experienced with, then it may take a few attempts to get the fit right without starting over and buying a new one. This “better than wax” product is not just “better than wax”, it’s the best out there! Don’t listen to the naysayers! The box provides everything that you need, well, right out of the box. Here’s some important tips that are stated directly on the box that the naysayers aren’t seeing. 1. Multiple rings can be stacked for the right fit. If your flange is super deep then buy a couple boxes and stack them together. 2. If the fit is too high, then have someone stick on the toilet to compress the foam for that perfect fit, and then gentle screw either side evenly for level. It’s as simple as that. Switched every toilet in my house to these. As for longevity: helped a friend install one of these in a recently purchased home. Prior owner had the home for 15+ years. Removed the toilet and realized prior owner already had one installed. Asked prior owner if he did it, they said “no” never replaced toilet seals during entire 15year of ownership. This product looked perfect for its age. Who knows how long prior prior owner had it installed for. Great price for a product that simply works!

Mystery odor gone
I installed a new toilet last November and since then, peroidically, a mystery odor came out of the toilet. When it's strong, you can even smell it in the close bedroom. This is very annoying. At first, I thought it's coming from the toilet itself, but even we clean it with bleach often, the smell still came out from time to time. I started to suspect that it's probably from the bad seal of the wax gasket conecting the toilet and the drain. Because drain outlet is a little bit below the ground, the wax gasket cannot seal it properly. I finally decided to reinstall the seal and the toilet. It's a hard decesion because it's a hassle and can be disgusting. But it's totally worth it! Once this new seal is replaced, the odor has never come back. We can now enjoy our smart toilet much better. Compared to wax, I hope this rubber material will also last longer.

Fantastic Product
I just received my Toilet Bowl Gasket at 1300 hours. By 1345 I removed my old wax gasket and installed this new wax free gasket. It was very simple, clean and a very easy install. Within 45 minutes I had removed toilet, cleaned complete area and installed this product without leaks or issues. Highly recommend as it seams to be a very sealed area.

Complete kit with everything you need, great instructions too!
I had to remove a leaking wax toilet seal and was looking for something that would be easy to install and less messy. Having read the reviews this kit was a no-brainer. I followed all the detailed instructions and everything went flawlessly. I especially liked the plastic retaining washers to hold the flange bolts in place while re-fitting the toilet - great idea! I also really appreciated the detailed instructions saying when to use the extra thick sealing ring depending on the relationship between the toilet flange and the floor.

Awesome
First time trying this non wax alternative. I was very skeptical but my dislike for wax led me to give it a try. I am very happy with the results and will definitely use again.
