You can tell it is not OEM but it worked fine. Had to adjust it a bit but seepage fixed.

NOT the correct part to replace original Hoov-R-Line Model 8121

The original Model 8121 part from Hoov-R-Line had a bizarre construction (see photo): it was the top part that had the outflow tube attached, but the flow was routed up through one of the supporting pillars for the valve control. The pillar was made hollow to allow this. It was truly an odd design. This top part, however, has no routing for the outflow at all, meaning the water would be trapped with nowhere to go; it's intended for a LATER Hoov-R-Line model where the outflow was routed from the lower part and not the top. I had to locate an alternative part that still had the outflow routed from the top (although in a different location on the part).

perfect fit replacement

Much less expensive and less work than replacing to entire flushing assembly. Only 4 screws to remove and less than 5 minutes work.

Not a straightforward repair

The kit seemed well made, but I had to trim the internal gasket in order for water to flow. With the effort that took, plus the time to disassemble, reassemble, and adjust the system, I just just about as easily have replaced the whole fill valve. This type of fill valve seems quite noisy, too, compared to other brands. So next time I will just replace the whole valve with a new one of a different type.

Do research and insure you order the correct part.

Worked perfectly. Saved $$ by not having to call a plumber or handyman to fit this minor issue.
