Perfect solution for fill tube

This little item is the perfect solution for the problem I had. My toilet tanks are older and shorter than the ones on the market today. When I had to have the entire fill mechanism replaced, the little rubber like tube that goes from the mechanism to bigger fill tube inside the tank was connected to a clip that is vertical. Since my tank is short, it did not have enough head room once I put the toilet tank lid on. I took that clip off and used this tiny wire clip to replace that. It fits on snugly and attaches to the bigger fill tube inside the tank. It works great and eliminated the need for head room and my toilet tank lid fits on without issue. This is absolutely the only thing I could find to solve the problem. It does not come with instructions, but it is easy to figure out. I bought 3 more to have as spares as all three toilets in my home have the short tanks. I hope this helps someone else with the same dilemma. Highly recommend! Note: these are tiny so make sure to have a good hold on it when applying it so that it is not dropped into the tank. I did not have to drain the tank in order to put it on the small rubber like tube and attach to the bigger fill tube inside the tank.

Little clip makes a BIG difference

I thought I had a leak in my 20 year old American Standard toilet. It turns out that after filling the tank following a flush the water level in the tank will slowly drain down to the level of the end of the little rubber fill tube inside the overflow tube. This clip keeps the end of the fill tube just inside the top of the overflow tube, right where it should be. Cheap, easy fix.

This was a perfect solution

Yes, it's the type of item you usually can't find because it's so minuscule but it serves its purpose. I couldn't find one in my local Home Depot, Lowes or Ace stores. It was rapidly shipped, and upon usage, it did the trick for my Kohler replacement valves.

Exactly what I needed

This clip, although small and unimpressive, is the exact thing I needed to get the refill tube adjusted correctly. This refill tube misalignment was an issue pointed out by a home inspector. This clip was the fix it needed. Problem solved!

Did not work for my Kohler toilet

I bought this couple of months ago. It was not able to secure my refill tube securely. Ultimately it could not securely attach itself to the refill drum (plastic one) to hold the refill tube in position. Ultimately it dropped into the toilet tank and disappeared. May be this is not suitable for Kohler toilet models I do not know. Or may be I did not fix it properly. Ultimately, I bought a filler tube with clip from the same vendor and it worked.
