Weight capacity is 300 lbs

I've been using this chair for a couple of weeks and so far really like it. Fits me just right and is very comfortable. However, if you're looking for a BIG chair, look elsewhere. This chair is much smaller than expected, although it turned out fine for me. Description says weight capacity is 400 lbs. Sticker on chair says 300 lbs. So if you're looking for a extra large-capacity chair, this is not necessarily going to work for you. Also, I'm not convinced that this chair will last a long time, as one of the internal plastic parts arrived cracked. Probably why I only paid $135 for it.

Another bad strut

The chair looks nice. It is comfortable for short periods of time, 6 hours or less. When the chair is extended up, even just a little, the chair wobbles as if loose. I have mixed reviews because the gas strut went bad within weeks of using the chair. Customer service was responsive, and they sent me a new replacement strut. That one lasted just as long. I fall well below the weight limit, and these struts keep failing. In my opinion, the struts are poorly designed. I gave up and ordered a much heavier duty strut. So far, that one is holding up.

Not built to last

In 3 years the back/seat surface has needed replacing twice, the gas cylinder failed, the arms wore out once, and the star-base shape broke twice. Support was great and they replaced parts when they were in warranty, but now it is out of warranty and needs to be replaced.

Decent value for the price.

Lacking sufficient padding in seat. Had to purchase additional " egg crate" type padding for comfortable sitting. But for the price ,decent value.

Missing Piece, Slow CS & Price drop

It had a missing piece so I could not put it together right away, they were nice to send me the part but it took almost 2 weeks and the price of the chair dropped over $25 from when I purchased it to when I got the part. Amazon did a 10% discount but would not price match. It is quicker to return and reorder but the item is heavy and it would have been an inconvenience.

Comfortable chair, next to impossible to assemble

Pros: Very comfortable Good back support Suitable for heavy people Cons: Confusing instructions Defective screw holes Literally next to impossible to assemble This chair took me nearly four hours to assemble due to defective screw holes. I could not align designated holes in the arm rests to the back and seat holes. When I could, the screws did not catch and did not tighten. I managed to put it together, with enough confidence that it would hold, through absolute brute strength. There is no reason for this chair to have taken as long as it did to assemble. Perhaps I just got the one defective chair in a batch of 100, even still, be prepared to struggle when putting this together. The picture-only instructions certainly didn't help at all either. Besides that, I will say, that this chair is very comfortable. I'm actually sitting in it now, writing this review. It doesn't hurt my back at all and I feel pretty confident that it won't break under my weight (and I'm not a light a person!) The base is very sturdy and made of thick plastic. It also looks pretty nice and is over all well made as far as the aesthetics ago. Like I said previously though, I did get a defective item and the fact that I got it together at all is pretty insane considering how difficult and ill-placed the screw holes were. The only reason I kept going with it was because I have no way to return it if it did not work. At a price of $133 I would hope for a little better quality control. It's not a bad chair, just mitigate your expectations when buying it. I wish I had.

Flash furniture has great CS

My chair arrived missing a few parts, but I contacted Flash Furniture and they sent them out right away. It's a wonderful chair and I appreciate the customer service reps that promptly took care of the issue. I will 100% buy from them again next time I need furniture.

Great chair overall, not great for wide hips

Bought this chair because it looked comfy and has a high weight rating. As a woman that weighs about 350lbs, I want to know my chair isn't going to drop me like a ton of bricks when I sit in it. It is a comfortable chair, and FEELS sturdy when I sit in it. BUT I have hips, as do most folks that are buying a chair rated for 400lbs. With where the arms of the chair are positioned, I find myself having to sit closer to the edge of the seat so the arms don't dig into my hips/upper thighs. So now I run the risk of the chair flying out behind me while I sit on it, so there's that added adrenaline rush I suppose.

Mediorcre at best

assembling this was quite simple but does requires a bit of strength so you might need some help or not. the chair does not actually recline it just kind of leans and it unfortunately creeks allot as it does. the material is very cheap and scratches at basically nothing, so if you're like me and you have cats I would avoid this chair. lastly comfort level is acceptable but you will definitely start to feel the lack of support on your butt if you're sitting allot as I am.

Not very good quality

This chair is uncomforable and the mechanism does not last. It started to drop 6 weeks after I started using it. It is supposed to be rated for 400# and I weight 330#. Do not buy this chair.

Garbage

The first use, the arm broke right at the back bolt that holds it to the base the quality is absolutely pathetic, Then they want me to return the item… because getting that to fit in the box is logical, and I’m definitely not going ti waste my time disassembling it.. Amazon is becoming pathetic

Rated for 400 lbs?

I purchased this chair as it was rated for 400 lbs. The chair was easy to assemble and seemed to be well made. My assumption was that a chair rated for 400 lbs could be used by someone weighing 400 lbs. Unfortunately the seat/arms were too narrow for someone of that size. To be fair the write up did note the seat size... my mistake for not seeing this. The chair was nice but totally unusable.
