Completamente sommergibile.

Very reliable
I have been raising all kinds of fish since 1984 and Eheim was and still the best on the market. It holds temps to a half of a degree. I would first put it in your tank for 15 minutes before plugging it in then run it until it shuts off then use the slide arrow to move it to that temperature and you should be good. This model has a slide on the side just above the blue dial. Not the same model used on you tube.

Still doing the job 1 year in
So the suction cups on this thing aren't great, and its HUGE, but the build quality is good. For the last year it has been keeping my 20g at a steady 75 despite the temp in the room dipping down to 64 in the winter. Its an eyesore but its doing exactly what I need it to do.

Great aquarium heater
Bought this for my 20 gallon high tank, a little bit larger than you'd expect so be sure to check the dimensions. Otherwise a great purchase, heats up the tank quickly and accurately.

Have It Adjusted As Low As It Will Go, Still 79 Degrees.
Thus is my 2nd Eheim Jager, and while the other when bottoming out the adjuster will wind up at 76 degrees Fahrenheit, this one ends up at 79. When I first installed it and let the tank temperature stabilize, it was closer to 87. It has been running for months now without issue, it's just a few degrees higher than desired. To check the temperature, I use a thermocouple and an infrared thermometer (not necessarily just for this, just happen to have them for other temperature stuff); they tend to read within less than a degree of each other. I also have an inexpensive magnetic thermometer that sticks on the inside of the glass, it consistently reads about a degree lower, not bad for a cheap little thing. No complaints other than it won't adjust very low, the other one is still working fine as well and has for the last year (I purchased another tank, needed a bigger heater). The temperature is not horrible, but it takes any benefit of real adjustability out of the equation, and if the calibration starts to creep higher, I won't be able to fix it. For me, it may as well be non-adjustable (unless I ever get something that really likes it hot), but it will do.

Works... But not very accurate dial
I previously had an Aqueon 100W heater which I purchased at the beginning of 2022. After multiple failures and warranty replacements I decided to move on and try this Eheim heater instead. First I will mention that I have a 20 gallon long tank and this thing is huge and does not fit vertically. I have it horizontal in the tank. Next, with the dial set to 78F, it heated my tank to 82F. I turned the blue dial to 74, but it still heated to 80. I followed the calibration instructions. I wanted my tank at 78F and to get there after calibration it needed to be set to 75ish. As long as it maintains the temperature at 78F and does not quit working I guess I will be happy.

Working well
This heater has been working well in a 40gal breeder tank. Maintaining a constant 77 degrees even during night time when my home is lowered to 66 degrees. Seems well made.

Oldie but goodie
A very classic style of submersible aquarium heater. Heavy duty cord, temperature controls are nice and stiff but the dial indicator is a little chunky. The user manual does state that it’s not for use with a secondary thermostat but I use mine set to about my max temp and then use an Inkbird set to control the the on off cycle at my preferred operating temperature . I gotta give the manufacturer credit for the packaging, Amazon packed this glass heater with a 15lb bag of gravel and the post office beat the box like it owed them money, yet the only thing broken was one of wings on the disposable plastic packaging stabilizer.

Hard to calibrate
At first I had no idea why my ???? tank kept getting hot because I thought that I was calibrating it right by the videos I watched.i guess the 3rd time was the charm lol as for the suction cups with the warm water they slide more n more but I just take them out n clean them n they are good again.

Rock solid
Heater was delivered the day after I ordered it as expected. It comes well packaged and even has a plastic ring around the bottom of the tube to protect it in transit. I would have liked it if the cord was a bit longer. If you have your electrics hidden in a cabinet like I do, you need the cord to be able to go down the back of the tank, down the back of the cabinet and then into cabinet to where the extension socket is. If you don't have your aquarium right next to a socket, you are going to need an extension. Some people wonder why this heater 'needs' to be calibrated. I think that the truth is you don't really need to calibrate it, you could just set it to a reasonable temperature depending on your stock and then check the temperature with a thermometer for the first 24 hours or so, adjusting up or down as necessary. I think that the reason for the calibration wheel is that it enables you to set the exact temperature (in half degree increments) regardless of the ORIENTATION of the heater. Most people will hang their heater diagonally, the instructions for this one say to place it vertically but I have heard of people placing it horizontally as well (to hide it behind plants for instance). You can imagine that depending on orientation, the the thermostat might read the ambient water temperature slightly differently. The other thing that I like about this heater is that it seems to be a bit more efficient than others I've looked at. I used the 100w model to replace a 150w Fluval model that exploded as I removed it from the aquarium (never do a water change without turning off your heater first!) Looking at other models of heater, a 150w model was suggested for my 129 litre tank. In this range, the Jager 100w seems to be enough. Not sure how this is possible, but it seems to work fine. Perhaps the heater is cycling less and that can only be a good thing in terms of the stability of the water temperature and the longevity of the heater.

Very difficult to calibrate.
I have had this in the aquarium now for 3 days. I have followed the instructions on setting it up and have also been online for more detailed instruction as to it's calibration. I have attempted to calibrate it 3 times and the temperature variation is still huge. It comes on around 25.7 degrees and switches off at 27.4. This unit advertises a .5degree variation. With the unit i bought this was not the case. I have returned the item for refund!

It WORKS!
After a few time-consuming and tedious back-and-forths with heating, this is consistent and accurate keeps the temperature at the specified mark, is slim and discreet and never looked back after getting it. Not sure about the thickness as it has not broken but it is comfortable and safe to touch as a working heater should be. Would recommend.

Good quality product.
Accurate temperature setting for 180L aquarium tank. Suction pads hold the thermostat in position.

Also the thermostat adjustment switch is pretty rubbish and complicated to set compared to the Haelia ...
Hailea heater at half the price hmmm! This is reasonably well made heater, but a Hailea heater is made just as well at half the cost. Also the thermostat adjustment switch is pretty rubbish and complicated to set compared to the Haelia which is idiot proof (I need that at times). BUY THE HAILEA HEATER IS WHAT I AM SAYING!
