Doesn't close, not worth the money
My daughter just had to have one of these and I wondered what all the hype was but got her one anyay for her birthday. It does not close, so does not store easily but does work good. Do I think it's worth the money? No because we have two other less expenseive ones that work, close and are easy to store between uses.

Very solid straightener!
This straightener has done a surprisingly great job straightening my hair. I was nervous to splurge on it because of the price point but compared to my previous bellami straightener this does so much better. I love how fast it heats up and even with thick long hair it takes about two passes for my hair to be straight. I would recommend it if you're looking to splurge on your hair tools!

Not the best for curly hair
Got this for my wife for Christmas because she wanted/needed a new flat iron and wanted one with an auto shut-off feature. She used it once and said it took a lot more effort than her old flat iron to straighten her hair. Because of this she felt like it would ultimately damage her hair. According to her, if your hair is already fairly straight, this should be a good flat iron. If you have pretty curly hair, this probably isn't the one for you.

Super Happy With This Flat Iron!
This flat iron is high quality. I like the different heat settings. It usually on takes one pass over my hair to straighten it (I have naturally wavy hair). The cord is long and doesn't tangle due to the swivel end where it attaches to the iron. I'm very happy with this iron and would highly recommend.

Love LOVE Drybar!!!
Was a bit pricey. But I love Drybar so worth the purchase! My other hair straightener made my hair smell like burnt hair. And the temperature was in Celsius. With this hair straightener, doesn’t smell like burnt hair at all. And I like it the most because on the outside it shows what temp it is on and heats up FAST! Super light! Soft and smooth! Very cute looking! I debated whether to order one for myself when I see my boyfriend, and I just ordered it for when I go see him. Because the one I have at his place doesn’t compare to this!

Disappointed
I was very excited to get this flat iron but when I finally tried it out I wasn’t very impressed. My cheap flat iron works better than this. I had to go over each section of hair that I straightened atleast 3-4 times for it to actually look decently straight.

Some things are worth the extra $
This is the second Drybar hair straightener I've owned. They are a one swipe and straightened/defrizzed product. I have thick unruly hair and it does the job well.
