Heavy duty cut-off wheels work very well!

The wheels are very durable for cutting off toilet bolts, trimming metal door keepers, etc.

It's a Dremel cutting disc that are expensive

These little disks are pretty expensive and it's kind of Hit and Miss whether it's worth it or not sometimes the little metal part for the EZ lock just breaks free of the disc put pic above for reference. I think 4 out of the 12 did that in the last package I got. Nothing I can do but deal with wasting my money on them other is a break on you no matter how careful you are using them and nobody seems to make a knock-off brand of it so you have no choice but to pay what Dremel wants you to pay for them but how big Dremel is you would think they would be able to make their stuff just a little bit cheaper for the consumer knowing how fast they wear down the problems you can have with them

Not a "bad" product but...

even though they work as well and last as long as the EZ Lock version and are significantly cheaper, there are others even less expensive that work the same, just not made by Dremel. I purchased a pack of 3rd party mandrels identical to Dremels sky high ones and load them all up before starting to work. So much money saved and still getting done in same amount of time.

Trim Dog's Nails and also get one of the best tools you can buy.

Great for lots of uses. It may sound weird but I actually purchased this tool to sand down the toe nails of our dog. I first purchased a $30 Sunbeam device at the local pet store and it died just out of the warranty period so I wasn't about to buy another one of those cheap pieces of junk again. A bit of advice, if you do use this on your dog make sure you do it slowly and switch toes as you trim them because the Dremel will not slow down thus generating a lot of heat that your dog will not like. If you take it slow your dog won't mind and you'll actually have a tool your dog will like better besides the fact that you can also use this tool for so many more things I can't mention them here. This Dremel is a quality tool and you won't regret getting it.

Great price for a must have dremel accessory

There are many different cutting wheels for the Dremel, but after using a lot of them I think these are the best bang for your buck. I've used these to cut through all kinds of materials but mostly metals like steel and aluminum. They work good on plastics and okay on wood as well, but metal is really where these wheels shine. When I need to cut something I always go for these first. I'd say these are better than the EZ Lock cutting wheels simply because they are cheaper, easier to store, and last almost as long. The few advantages the EZ lock cutting wheels have over these is that they are bigger and last a little longer, easier to swap out, and there are specialized cutting wheels for plastic, metals, etc. However, these wheels do last a long time if used right and it isn't that difficult or time consuming to swap out the cutting wheels from the mandrel. I would consider this a must have for any Dremel user.

Dremel Cut -Off Wheels

I have used this product many times, to cut everything from plastic to metal. They work great & last quite a while. The cost of these at any local hardware store was $4.60 each & a package of 5 was $23 incl tax. However, a package of 20, delivered to my door, from Amazon, cost exactly $1.91 each. Buying a package of 20 saved me $53.80, had I bought 20 locally........unbelievable!!!

Disks are tough

The disks are tough and what usually happens if you are too rough with them is that they will get loose and vibrate or break near the middle. I still think they are worth the money over fake dremel disks.
