Expensive, but right tool for delicate tile cutout

I used this in conjunction with the right angle adapter to cut porcelain tile corner notches and outlet. Definitely worked amazing for delicate tile cutouts. I couldn't find a better alternative, so I highly recommend this.

Did the trick on cutting tile in situ.

Had to repair my dishwasher and discovered that the tilers "tiled it in" when we had the floor replaced several years ago. This attachment allowed me to cut away just enough tile in situ to free the feet for removal. Cut right through the tile and made it easy to complete and impossible to notice.

Great tool

I purchased this to make a few cuts in porcelain tile. I don’t cut tile often so there’s no need for a saw. This worked great, I kept a steady stream of water flowing to avoid overheating and had no issues. I made scores on the front and back sides of the tile and was able to snap it with no problem. I made two 26” long cuts approximately 1/8” deep each, and two 12” long cuts in the same depth and noticed no dulling in the wheel as far as performance goes, however I did notice slight physical wear. Would absolutely purchase again.

These dremel diamond cutting wheels are amazing, they cut clean and quickly. Cut these outlets out for our ceramic back slash. Would highly recommend

Worked perfectly for a small tile cutting job

I bought this to cut stone tiles in my kitchen. I only had to cut tile for an 24" section and around 3 outlets, (a total of 18 tiles). I didn't want to buy or rent a tile saw or tile cutter. When I researched how to cut tile without a saw or cutter, I was excited to see that I could do it with my handy dandy Dremel tool! I found this little gem. A friend told me to order more than one, but I only got one because it is a bit pricey. It is worth every penny! It was way cheaper and easier for me to buy this and the mandrel to go with it than it is to buy or rent a tile saw/cutter. Like someone else had said, it cut through the tile like butter. I couldn't be happier with how this handled. From what my friend said, I expected it to break on me halfway through. You have to let the Dremel do the work, and use a good amount of water to keep it from getting hot. I'm very happy this purchase, it helped me finish the small job and there still seems to be a lot of life left in it.

Sharp, precise cuts on carbon fiber

I build custom knives. A dramatic look is to make liners from carbon fiber. Cutting the carbon fiber can be a headache, or a pain in the ..... anyway, a friend who cuts carbon fiber for race cars told me about this diamond cutting wheel. I couldn't believe it. The proverbial cutting through butter. Depending on what you're cutting this may be the ticket.

Super handy disc

Picked this up to do a few little cuts on some subway tile. Used it on my Milwaukee rotary tool with a bit of water to keep it cool and it worked like a charm. Definitely a handy little disc to have if you ever need to do small/intricate cuts in tile.

Does exactly what you need it to do.

I have now purchased a few of these diamond cut-off wheels. Works great for not only finishing those very close and fine porcelain/ceramic tile cuts but also works great for cleaning up between the tiles. Great attachment. If you have a Dremel and are working with fine tiles, you will need this cut off wheel.

Cuts tile right on wall

Worked great. I had to cut an existing tile backsplash when installing an over the range microwave because new microwave was bigger. I did a 30 inch cut. It worked well and it seems there is little wear on the wheel. Had my wife follow my cut with a shop vas to limit dust. Had I not done that it would have been very messy. Price on amazon was at least 30% less than in stores.

Porcelain Tile

Was able to cut through porcelain tile fairly easily. Just a note you will require the Dremel EZ402 EZ Lock Mandrel in order to use this diamond wheel.

It does cut glass

I'm a glass chemist who needed to prepare 1"×1"×1/2" glass coupons with near exact dimensions. This wheel worked wonders cutting hard and soft glasses alike and allowed me to precisely shape the final products. However, after about 15 pieces I could notice the blade becoming visibly and physically dull. The longevity was useful enough for my purpose, and would probably last longer cutting softer materials like ceramic tile.
