Very impressed with subject. Just getting back into counted cross stitch and find directions are easy to follow. Has been many years but am really enjoying the challenge.

Great materials, was able to complete in 2 months. Only suggestion, scan the instructions to make a copy. The fold in the papers will wear away the pattern on that line and make it hard to follow towards the end.

Great kit!

This is a splendid counted cross stitch kit. The design is beautiful and the pattern is very clear. The comments about having not enough thread seem baseless. My thought is that those folks did not separate the strands as instructed so they ended up using too much thread. There are a lot of colors and a lot to keep track of, plus it's a large size so I wouldn't recommend this for beginners. It's not really difficult, just a bigger canvas with a few different stitch types like half stitches and combined stitches. I definitely recommend this! Here's an update after completion of the project: this was a great kit. My one comment is that the quality of the thread is not as good as DMC, but for the price of the kit, that is to be expected. I compared the finished product to another kit using better thread and you can tell the difference, but if you just look at the finished product hanging on the wall in a frame it is quite beautiful. I still love it and recommend it!

Dimensions is always good

I am in the middle of stitching this one. It is definitely not for beginners. I've been cross-stitching for many, many years and Dimensions kits are my go-to. This is a 14-point, I'm used to 18-point and it does have a lot of detail to add to it. If you're middle-aged, like me, you'll need readers or magnifiers to read the chart. I'll post a picture when I'm done with it.

Beautiful Pattern & Colors

Beautiful pattern, beautiful colors. Definitely not a beginner pattern, but there was plenty of floss to complete the pattern. I would recommend getting some kind of floss organizer to assist you while you work, because even though the floss comes clearly marked by color & number of strands, once removed from the card, there is no way to reattach it and it can become confusing which color is which. Overall, I absolutely love the end result! Can't wait to get it pressed, matted and framed!

My sister loves it

I've been doing cross stitch for years and gifted them to others when I'm done. The first counted cross stitch I did, which was very complex, took five winters, so don't give up. ;-) I finished this one for my sister in a few months for her new home. I gave her a choice of three Mason Jar patterns and she chose this one. The background is stamped, so the actual stitching goes quickly. The pattern sheet is very nice and I had floss left over. The finished product is accurate to photo. IMO, I think a "beginner" would not find this too intimidating.

Intricate cross stitch

Everything is provided to complete the cross stitch. Quite intricate detail & takes many hours. Suggest it is designed for more experienced cross stitcher
