The replacement ruler came very fast

The first ruler I received had weird gouges. I contacted the seller who sent a new one right away. The second ruler is perfect. Great customer service!

Not the most accurate, save your quilts

I was super excited for this ruler. It’s a good price and seemed very useful (what with including seam allowance and multiple sizes). The ruler shape itself is accurate but unfortunately those seam allowances and smaller measurements aren’t. Seems like it was just printed on at an angle. The bottom (long edge) is off, measuring below the 1/4 inch line and then slanting off to end up being above the 1/4 inch line the farther out (left) you go. The other seam allowances are also a little off—I included pictures. You can also see that the inside measurements for smaller nexus’s deviates off of a straight line and is slightly slanted. Used a different cutting mat in the end to make sure it wasn’t just my blue one that was off. All in all, if you’re making the full size of the ruler, there probably won’t be in issue since the shape itself is accurate, but if you’re trying to use the inside measurements for smaller hexies, your lines won’t be perfectly straight and that small difference will build up with more and more hexies sewn together. Forget about straight lines and matching points for this one. Disappointed because I just now decided I was brave enough for a hexie quilt after having this on my ruler wall for months. Can’t return.

Because the first ruler I received was broken during shipment, I requested a replacement. I received the new ruler within a couple of days of submitting my request.

Inexpensive hex ruler

I liked that it cost less that others and is just as accurate. Only negative is that it is totally clear. I put a couple of cute stickers on so I could find it when I am using it when working on a quilt. The photo is a project I am working on currently that uses the hexagon ruler.
