Will work for what I need

These are exactly what I need to finish a project. However, they came in a baggie and the directions were crumpled. It was obvious this was a used product. In addition, there were supposed to be 60 in the package and there were 59. That tells me that someone opened this package, kept one, and returned the rest. I don't think a package like this should be resold to a buyer without providing the detail that it's used and not new. Also, there are a few sizes that are bigger, but most are very tiny, which could be a bonus, as without these, it would be almost impossible to make a small perfect circle.

Yes, you can get perfect circles.

The Karen Kay Buckley Perfect circles are amazing. I'm new to applique and was introduced to these mylar circles by Jen Kingwell. I used the circles to cut the correct sized piece of circular fabric for my project, adding a 1/4" seam allowance. Then I sew a line of small stitches around the circle in that seam allowance, leaving the ends of thread about 2" long. Then, using the tails of the thread, pull the thread to gather the edges of the fabric around the circular template. Then I use my iron (set on silk setting) to press the seam allowance around the template. Remove the template and then I have a perfect circle to applique to my project. As long as I take small stitches on the gathering stitch, I get a nice round circle.

Depends on your projects..........

Lots of circles (all have a hole in the middle and a ring to tether them all together) in lots of sizes. I wonder why the largest one doesn't have a close cousin while all other sizes are very close to each other in radius. Except the largest one, the rest are all very small. If you are into making very small fabric rounds, you'd like this kit (like fabric covered buttons or doll clothes). I like to make rounds larger than 3 inches in radius therefore this kit is not use for me.

Perfect indeed!

First, I didn't realize there would be so many circles and sizes! And the clasp provided to keep them all organized is great. I've used these already, several of them, just to test out the sizes and I gotta say, pleasantly surprised. They work great and it's really fast to do! Clever idea Karen Kay! I recommend to anybody who quilts and wants a perfect circle.
