Product is great, container is horrible.
This product works great with my 3d prints. I was using it from a tube but thought this larger/bulk container would be more efficient. The thin container was cracked when i received it...was shipped in a plastic bag mailer...but i taped it to seal out the air. Product was great when i opened but the lid does not close securely, more of a light press fit, and the product dries out quickly ( few days). If you plan to use the entire container immediately, then this could be a good way to go. For me...it will be back to the tubes though more costly.

Might be the solution for you
I hand carved a wooden baseball bat that split when it was drying. Added this product to the crack(about a quarter inch), left overnight then sanded. Not quite as hard as I thought it would cure but OK. Does sand easily so don't be afraid to get too much on. DOES NOT take stain at same absorption as the wood. It will stain a lighter brown. Would only use for cosmetics, no structural repairs. Be careful with the age of the product, if it's not bright pink it's old.

Used it before
Still works great. I recommend using on a cool day and keeping container lid on tight when not in use. Only expect a few weeks of shelf life, it dries up from just air in container. We used it to patch badly damaged fascia board below a leaking gutter (after fixing gutter). We used epoxy for large areas of damage, but we used this on some narrow areas where we scraped out damaged wood. It stayed in the crack, dried in place without sagging. Dries fast, sands nicely. We used wood hardener on wood before filling cracks, works fine with this product. We use a good primer coat over this before painting. We are in coastal temperate climate and this stuff lasts indefinitely if kept painted.

It’s idiot proof! Apply, smooth, wait for color to change then sand and paint.
Unfortunately, when we bought the house it had knob-and-tube wiring which needed to be replaced. The highly recommended electrician that performed the work was not strong in cleaning or cosmetics. We needed Dap to help repair the numerous issues left behind in our bead board walls. What can I say? It works! Dap was easy to apply and smooth on. For once, I didn’t need the finger press test to know if it was dry. It’s idiot proof. When the color changes from pink to white/tan it’s dry and ready to be sanded & painted. The only downside is once the container has been opened, any unused portion will probably have to be discarded. I’ve tried resealing and enclosing the container in a zip lock bag, but the product seems to start the timer once the container is opened. Other than that, product does what it is suppose to do. Great value for what it does.
