Much better than anticipated!
I purchased these for an odd reason that I dont really want to advertise, but I’m sure others have experienced. I have a table with stools that roll under it. The stools have ball bearing type rollers on the bottom. I kept it on a rug and it was great. I also have a cute and almost perfect dog. Sadly, in a moment of stress and anxiety, my dog peed on the base of the table/stools, and I didn’t catch it right away. And like many dogs, after establishing an indoor pee spot, he declared that location appropriate for any time that I wasn’t home and he felt an urge. Well, I’m not a total slob, so I did discover this after a few incidents. I shampood the rug, but once a pee spot, always a pee spot. So I did the only sensible thing and got rid of the rug. Sadly though, some rust spots formed on the ball bearings and they didn’t roll smoothly anymore. I didn’t want them to scratch the floor, so I bought some plastic furniture casters with felt bottoms to put under the hall bearings. It was ok, but if I moved the stools to use them or to sweep under them, they slid out. Truly a 1st world problem, but annoying. So I was trying to think of a solution, and finally thought about the sticky putty that we used to hang our posters up with in college. I found several brands on Amazon, but then wondered if they would stick to metal. I refined my search and found these. They were even less expensive than the other brands, and they advertised that they would stick to metal and plastic, so I ordered them. They shipped overnight. I was taken back by how small the package was and how tiny the individual squares of putty are. I really thought I would need a lot more to hold 16 casters. Wrong! These tiny square did the trick! They hold fast and don’t budge when I pull the stools across the floor. These don’t feel sticky, but they have a strong hold and are a very inexpensive solution for my problem! I’m very pleased!

Holds up to the weather
I used this to attach some solar lights to siding on my house to light up the walkway to my door. I really didn’t want to drill into the siding so I decided to give this a try first. The lights have stayed securely in place through wind, snow, rain, and freezing temperatures. So far so good! Great option for hanging items outdoors without drilling holes.

Didn't hold as expected
Supposed to be the ultimate in hold , well I woke to find my decorative small sunflower , blown away .sadly I have faith this stuff would hold , what a sad disappointment

Very impressed!
Used to hang up Christmas lights (and left them up) and they have still held them up for over 3 months now with extremely cold, wet, freezing weather conditions.

This stuff is great
I initially tried the blue stuff, that was terrible. One has to knead it to soften it up, and then the very light weight plastic picture frames I used it on would always fall. I use this stuff, and it sticks no problem. It's soft to begin with, so you don't have to disfigure your hands trying to get it pliable. All my frames are sticking no problem. The only slight issue I had was it was melting on the wall that has the chimney behind it so it's constantly warm, and I saw the picture frame slowly sag down after several days LOL But even with that, it didn't fall!

best mouting putty out there, although pricey to import
Have tried them all over the years and this is the best, the stickiest. Have used it for all kinds of things. I leave a solar charger on the car dash year round, and this holds it in place summer and winter. If I decide to remove it, it will come off with no trace. And the plastic clips for a very expensive room air filter broke on the panel that keeps the filter in place, making the whole unit almost useless. I put a glob of this stuff where the old clips were and pressed hard. Once a year, when I change the filter, I will have to pull the putty apart by force. It is a messy repair but a workable repair. Lots of uses.

Sitcks and Resticks
I thought that it might be like the stuf you see jewellers use to hold stones. And yes, this is the stuff. When soldering items, I just push them onto a blob of this and solder away. Then pull the blob off the table and put it away again. It never seems to wear out. I even push printed circuit boards on top to hold while removing parts from them. And wires to fix them during test and assembly. The package does not seem large.. check the dimensions.. but the re-usablity makes this less of a problem.

Buyer Beware!!!!!!!
This does not hold. Even on frames/posters. It says it's xtreme putty and even holds glass. I would have to disagree. If it can't even hold a dollar stores small light weight frame, like it probably weights not even 1/2 lb, then I would not take the chance on putting it on anything. I'll be trying to return it.

Inexpensive putty vs Impossible task.
I purchased this by hoping to install acoustic panels in my home recording studio and couldn't drill the walls because they contain asbestos (the building was built in 1940). I thought I would give this putty a try and wow! I am very impressed ... the panels have been up for almost a two weeks and they didn't fall.
