Great waffles, chaffles, removable plates (square version) critical
My family of four is reducing our carb intake, and I previously started with the Dash mini waffle maker, but the cleanup drove me crazy. With all the cheese and other ingredients, there is a lot of oil and burned bits. And the mini takes 4-5 minutes per little waffle which means my family of four had to wait forever. I hunted and hunted for a waffle maker with removable plates and settled for this one. Tonight I made chicken Parmesan chaffles which definitely requires more filling than the little dash, maybe 1 of these chaffles is like 1.5-2 from the Dash mini. You can see my chicken Parmesan chaffles in the picture. The second picture is of the waffle plates dirty after making them, the third picture is after I easily washed the plate. I also used the pancake plate to make “keto sandwich thins” cheeseburger patty pocket sandwich. I also am going to try Chinese “egg dumplings” which uses scrambled egg thin wrappers around dumpling filling. Definitely the bottom browns more for the pancake plates. It might brown the top well if the pancake batter you make rises a lot. Otherwise one side definitely looks better than the other. So many uses beyond regular waffles, and the removable plates allow for easy cleanup. My waffle maker also was missing back rubber feet and I have asked Cuisinart if this is intentional. But those feet are pretty sharp without the rubber feet. The machine is relatively light and I was surprised how light the plates were compared to some other machines I’ve tried. But they made the regular waffles well and the chaffles as well, so I can’t complain. I do wish that they made the top and bottom plates interchangeable as I think a flat bottom plate would have been a nice option. The “ready” beep was quite accurate. I wonder if it was just a timer thing or a temperature gauge or some other sensor.

Great waffle maker and small pancake maker
We've had 3 other waffle makers and this one is by far our favorite! My son loves waffles and we make them every weekend morning. +Removable plates that can go straight in the dishwasher. Much more durable than another brand waffle iron that had removable plates. +Comes with waffle griddle and flat plates for pancakes, egg sandwiches, etc. We cook eggs in it too! +Nice sturdy appliance with a nice stainless steel look +The Cuisinart brand is good quality +Even heat temp for even cooking +Tons of heat adjustability and seems to cook faster than other waffle makers we have had. +Love the flat plates with little circles so you can do small pancakes and eggs. I've been doing breakfast sandwiches - english muffin, canadian bacon and egg all right in this appliance. Then I only need to wash one thing instead of 2-3 pans. I also put in regular square toast and egg for an egg sandwich. The plates don't smash tight on the bread so you can even put cheese on the bread and melt it while the egg is cooking. So, even though there are circles in the griddle plate you can put square toast in it. It will just cook an indentation on it. +I put my plate on top of the unit while the stuff is cooking and then the plate is warm. :) I don't have ANY negatives to say other than it does take up quite a bit of counter space but it's really worth it for us. It does fold to a stand for storage. It looks better than most waffle irons so we honestly leave it out because we use it so often. Only other slight negative might be that when you put in butter or oil it tends to drip out the back. Not sure if a tray under would help, as others have this feature. Not a big deal. Great waffle iron. Spend a few bucks extra for this one and you won't regret it. Super well made and we've tried them all.

The best!
I love the ease of using this multi-purpose waffle maker. Aside from it being so easy to clean, it’s cooks my waffles and pancakes to perfection. A little brushing of neutral tasting oil is all you need for an easy release when used consistently overtime. It’s great for dishwasher, but I enjoy washing it by hand and it takes no time at all. I bought the round Cuisinart waffle maker previously and had to return it as the indicator light stopped coming up in barely 3 months of purchase. It was also the hardest to clean. The only slight problem I have with this unit is having to put a little pressure on the top for the indicator light to disappear (it goes away after a while, but I get anxious waiting too long when it doesn’t). 1 month in review (I’ll get it again in a heartbeat)

Nice Product
Happy with this purchase. Have used it several times, works well, compact (easy to store), easy to clean. Great waffles. I only use as much batter as recommended in the directions so have not had a problem with batter overflow. Level 3 does the best job for our tastes.

It has a USA plug and doesn’t work in UK.
There is no notification of electrical specification. Sad. It was a present and has been returned.

Excellent to use and removable waffle plates are dishwasher safe for cleaning.
We love this waffle maker. It makes great waffles and we love the fact that the waffle maker plates are removable and can be clean easily in the dishwasher. Great product!
