Great High Quality Range Vent
Found this searching for a stainless range vent with all digital touch controls. This high quality range vent will make any kitchen look great, especially those with matching stainless appliances. It provides great illumination of the entire range area and the bright LED clock provides a night light effect in a dark kitchen with the unit powered off. It has a strong fan with 3 speeds and we typically use the lowest/quietest speed to completely rid the range area of cooking smells. Another great benefit is the well-thought out, planned maintenance as it includes very nice removable/washable filters and a catch container for the motor. It's also very easy to install- just be sure to use at least 5 anchors (many extra are included). After all measurements, use 3 anchors on the top main mounting bracket and 2 on the lower holes behind the fan motor. I'd suggest starting with a drywall screw on both lower ones as I got lucky on the first one and hit a stud. The lower anchors/screws will prevent the unit from being lifted off the top bracket hooks if it's accidentally bumped from below, e.g. taller person leaning over to clean the range and bangs their head, etc.

Excellent Range Hood at a Great Price!
I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to others. It has a much higher air flow capacity than many of the other range hoods costing much more. The electronic display is much easier to clean than push buttons. I like the timer feature that will automatically turn off the fan after a predetermined amount of time. The stainless steel filters are sturdy and easy to clean. The plug on the power cord makes for easy installation, if you have an outlet appropriately placed. My previous range hood was hard-wired, so I had to install an outlet to plug in the new range hood. I wish the clock could be set to the 12 hour format, instead of the 24 hour format, but this isn't a major problem since most range hoods don't even have a clock. The biggest problem I had was that the chimney was about 8 inches too short, requiring me to reuse the chimney from my last range hood, and since the dimensions were different, I had to place wood trim behind the chimney, as a spacer. Overall, installation would be very simple, if your ceiling isn't as high as mine and you could use the provided chimney. The instruction manual was good, but it didn't describe how to install the chimney brackets and the two round spacers that were included. This is a good quality range hood. It was packed very well and arrived within two work days. As I said, in the beginning, I'm very pleased with the quality and ease of installation and would recommend this range hood to others. Update: After three years of little use and regular cleaning of the filters, the fan started making squeaking sounds and froze up, shortly afterward. I'm very disappointed. As little as this fan was used and as often as the filters were cleaned, I expected this fan to function for at least 10 years.

Sleek & Modern Exhaust Hood...But Unfortunately Noisy
I purchased this hood from Amazon as it fit the style/look we wanted and were not able to get one any time soon from the big box stores due to covid interference. I really like the look of this hood and it complements our remodel of our kitchen nicely. It was installed, easily, by the kitchen contractor yesterday. I haven't had a chance to use it, but I did turn on the lights (good brightness for cooking) and the fan. The fan has 3 settings and it automatically went on the highest and I switched it to medium and then low. To be honest, I am very disappointed with how loud it is...even on the lowest setting. I thought I had read that it was quiet. I will speak with the kitchen contractor and see if there is something about the way it was installed, but I fear it is just the nature of it. I am aware that most exhaust hoods are fairly noisy but this one is particularly so.

Very effective..
Installation was easy.. so many YouTube videos to follow. Works great.. some reviews says very quiet.. mines is quiet on 1 speed but very noticeable on 2 and 3 speed that is not an issue though. Its very effective especially coming from a indian home where curry is a common daily meal... literally no smell of curry whilst this fan is running.. other reviews said issue with touch pad.. YES first use i had issues with the touch buttons because i was not doing it the correct way . YOU HAVE TO TOUCH BUTTON AND LEAVE FINGER ON IT FOR 1.5 SECONDS.. its not just a quick soft TAP.. you have to place your fingers for just 1 second and release...

Good fan, low noise (case-by-case)
- Looks very nice - Very good suction power - Easy set up, but the installation for us was tricky because chimney parts don't line up well. - Low noise however since our setup was converting from a microwave, so the exhaust pipe does not go up like this was designed for. It was tricky to make it work but it was OK. Because of the current setup we have, we did not have the low noise level that the manufacturer promised. Nevertheless, F1 (level 1-lowest) is OK, it gets rather loud on F3 (highest), and still is better than the noise we had from the microwave fan. - Hope that the company can offer better design and setup for converting microwave to this range hood.

Noisy but looks elegant
The range hood is noisy. Overall it works as advertised and looks lovely in the kitchen. Be aware, that the instruction book is incorrect regarding changing the time. I had a power failure and tried to do it as the booklet said, and all it did was make the fan go higher or lower. Instead I decided to figure it out without the book. Use the up and down symbols to change the time.

Très satisfait pour le prix
Avant de me procurer ce produit, comme tout le monde, j ai été voir les évaluations. Plusieurs mentionnent le manque d aspiration ainsi que le niveau de bruit. Pour l aspiration, cet appareil le fait très bien. Ceux qui disent que l aspiration n est pas adéquate doivent avoir trop long de conduit et/ou trop de coudes ou bien un clapet anti retour défectueux. Plus le conduit est long et plus il y a de coudes, moins vous aurez de débit. Note: je suis un retraité du domaine de la ventilation ( 40 ans d expérience ). Pour ce qui est du bruit, eh bien sachez qu' il est impossible d avoir un très bas niveau de bruit et une forte aspiration, le ventilateur étant juste au dessus de la grille. Pour ma part, je trouve que le bruit est parfaitement acceptable. Il y a des ventilateurs avec les mêmes caractéristiques au DOUBLE du prix alors à $400 Canadien, je vous recommande cet item sans aucune hésitation.

Cost effective but not the best quality
The hood was very cost effective BUT it is very noisy even on low speed. Also I’ve noticed lately that the clock loses a few minutes every two weeks. Annoying that it has to be reset every few weeks. Lesson learned I guess - you get what you pay for. In this case an ok hood.
