Attractive Range Hood

The product was delivered quickly and efficiently. It came undamaged. It looks great, and having different exhaust speeds makes it an appealing purchase for anyone looking for a Range Hood.

Great range hood!

This range hood does a great job pulling smoke and fumes up from the cook top of the range. It might be a little loud for someone with sensitive hearing. The lights do a great job lighting up the cooking area. I hired the local handyman to install it and he and his helper had it up in just over an hour, including sawing the hole in the side of the house. If you're not experienced at home improvement projects, I'd recommend hiring a professional to do the installation. I was glad I did. The unit looks very nice in my kitchen.

Good value. Easy installation.

I used this hood in our kitchen remodeling project. I added 1/4" beadboard to the outside to match the doors and it turned out better looking than the $1000 wooden units. It has very good suction power and vents all of the smoke and fumes away from the kitchen. Noise level is acceptable.

A little loud but easy install

Looks solid and feels solid. The light bulb is super bright white so it doesn't at all match the rest of the lights in the house- haven't figured out how to change it. Easy install and just a touch too loud.

Just installed and looks nice- one thing right out of the gate was the plastic protector that needs to be peeled off!!! What a nightmare!!! It comes off easily on the larger area but there is spots that you can barely grab ahold and it just tears and makes a mess !!! Haven’t really used yet but will update-

Quiet and good looking, a little loose when installed and instructions missed some important steps

This hood looks great for a low price and is quiet when installed with rigid ducting -- worth noting that this makes the installation harder. The main thing I disliked about this hood is that the main way is secured to the wall is by being hung on a bracket. This leaves a little bit of play in the hood, enough so that if you bumped into it you'd tilt it out of balance. While I was able to secure it down a bit more, ultimately some of this came from the nature of this product being made of pretty thin sheet metal. Instructions also missed some important steps like explaining what the oil filter tray was and where exactly to install the outer chimney bracket.

We love this. It looks amazing and works great. It actually is the second one we have bought due to our house getting hit by lightning. The only issue is it is kinda loud but still so worth it.

decent value ok suction so-so noise, but it will take hours to peel off the blue plastic

Suction and noise are ok, on level 1 noise is acceptable but suction is ok at best, I recommend installing at 23-24 inches for max suction (tried at 27 and lowering it to 24). appearance is ok cheap stainless smudge prone AND the darned blue film is shrinkwrapped or like epoxyed all over every little channel and gap and is VERY hard to get off. Big brands like Panasonic and LG have film that just peels off easily. This one they have cheaper tech i guess, the stuff is glued on, it will take a long time to patiently get all the blue stuff off its so tight on there in all the cracks and crevices even behind lights and stuff i cant imagine how they got the film on. it wouldl make much more sense to put everything in soft wrap not this nuclear film wrap. Second negative - totally NOT programmable. with power on, it starts at level 3, why?? i don't want to use level 3. the workaround is to press power then - (minus) to start at level 1. Shutoff delay after power off is 1 min. Most of the time i want 2-3 minutes. Why not let the user program it 1-5 minutes?? time clock display is way too bright and cannot be changed to 24 hour, 3 times brighter than my stove and cant be lowered!!! The stainless is super smudge prone, so avoid touching it!! Blue wrap impossible to remove and fingerprint and stain prone stainless are consistent with cheap 2nd or 3rd tier chinese products. We know its a bargain product compared to some options, but still. $300 is a third of the price of a standard smudge proof stainless fridge from a big brand, but there's not much to this product- a plastic fan, and some stainless sheet metal and the digital panel with no options. because of the somewhat convulted steps to get to the fan speeds and start i would probably buy the 5 button model (like broan) if i had to o it again.

Could have been better

The last part does not have a plastic protection layer like on the rest of the device. So no choice to scratch it when you remove the sticker. Regarding to the sensitive touch panel, it triggers the lights by itself when you cook. Probably the heat from your range...

Just not worth the savings.

LED light was very dim and only one brightness setting just on or off. Also very loud even on low setting. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend it. If for personal kitchen I would have returned it, but it’s for a rental apartment. Since contractor had already installed, it would cost me to much more to have it uninstall and a different one installed to replace it.

Great at first, until the blower started to make loud noises

After having it installed it was working well, suction was really strong from F1 to F3. But in just about month or so of use, when using F2 and F3 it started to make loud noises, like the fan or blower started to rattle inside. Can’t use these 2 functions anymore. It works no problem at F1, unfortunately we were not able to see the potential suction of this product when fan is increased.
