Great Design
I’ve used these products for several years to wind up extension cords with very little fuss. I used this larger version to hold 50’ of 3/8 inch hybrid air hose without a problem. Highly recommend this innovative, simple design & easy storage product.

Holds a LOT of cord
Had to actually read the instructions, but overall pretty easy to use. This thing really holds a lot of cord. I tried to stuff way more than it's rated, 100ft of huge 10ga extension cord, and it *almost* fit!! Wow.

Better Than the Kind You Crank
The media could not be loaded. Before this purchase, I tried 2 of the reels with the cranks on them. They struggled to work properly under the weight of my 90' extension cord. They just weren't as convenient as I imagined they'd be. I returned them and figured I'd give this one a try, despite the fact that it doesn't have a crank. I was very surprised to discover that the CordPro XL is much faster to deploy than the crank ones. You just plug it in, set it on the ground, and pull the loose end. It magically glides across the ground and dispenses the cord evenly (i.e., the CordPro stays in the middle of the cord), without putting tension on the plugged-in end and without pulling it out of the wall. When you're done, you simply roll up each side, much like you'd do if you were wrapping it around your wrist and elbow. But if you imagine operating the crank kind, the movement is actually quite similar. If your crank kind works flawlessly, it's probably slightly easier/quicker to roll up a cord. But that wasn't my experience with the 2 I returned. The cord was constantly jumping off the reel or getting tangled, which makes the CordPro XL the superior option in those cases too. The CordPro XL is more compact, more durable (no moving parts), and has (in my opinion) a much cleaner appearance (i.e., it completely hides the cord) when not in use. It also makes it easier to clean debris off your cord as you're winding it up, because you can hold a rag in your winding hand and wipe it down as you go. In contrast, the crank kind would require...I don't know...holding the rag with your feet? Bottom line, this product is far superior to the extension cord reels that you crank. It might take a bit more effort to roll up the cord without a crank, but it takes much less effort to unroll it. At worst, the two styles require roughly the same TOTAL effort. More likely, the CordPro XL will save you time and effort compared to the crank kind.

Works as advertised
Had this for a month now, and use it once or twice each week with a 100' 12AWG cord. It's the best product of its kind I've ever used. It's easy to deploy and recover, and the cord shows no signs of twisting yet. The operator still needs to pay a little attention to avoiding twists in the cord, but it's much easier to manage than with traditional reels. I find it much less awkward to use than traditional reels as well. The fact that the cord ends are completely enclosed makes for neater storage. If you're like me and have 4 extension cords of various lengths in your garage, this is a great solution. I'll be purchasing more of these in a variety of sizes.

Exactly what I needed
Nothing else I found could handle a 100' ft, 12 gauge cord. This is amazing. Fully contained and so easy to carry. Just received, so I can't speak to the durability, but this is not a cord I will be using often. It sure beats having a tangled pile! So simple, but ingenious!

One of my favorite tools: Useful, Inexpensive, Durable, Clever!
This is an amazing, clever tool! It allows me to easily carry a 100-foot 12/3 extension cord in my small camper van. That's a big deal for me, because I live full-time in the van, off and on, and I sometimes need a long, safe (that is, heavy) power cord to reach shore power. Without this cord organizer, I simply wouldn't be able to do it! The long, heavy cord winds easily and neatly onto this surprisingly compact reel, which then stows easily behind one of the front seats. Before I found this, I was using one of those reel-in-a-bucket thingies. That worked very well, but there was no way to carry the big bucket in the van without taking up much-needed space! What a transformation this tool is for me! Even better, I experience joy every time I grab it and use the cord, or wind up the cord and put it away. Another benefit: I can easily and neatly unwind only the length of cord I need, so the long, heavy cord is no less convenient to carry and use than a lighter, shorter cord. Often, I need unwind only one end of the cord, so the reel hangs proudly on the van's bike rack, out of the mud. I've been using this reel roughly weekly for more than a year. When in use, it is often outside, in all weather, sometimes in natural areas. It shows no signs of wear, and it's easy to clean the exterior. To keep the interior clean, I just wet a small towel to wipe off the cord as I wind it up. Long, heavy extension cords are so very useful in so many ways. Even if you only use yours in your home, office, or garage, you'll love having this reel hanging on the wall, making you feel smart and capable!

Easy to use and durable! Have purchased several!
There is nothing I dislike about this product. I have purchased several of these as they are a local company to KC, MO and a small business. I only have to unwind just what I need and then wind it back up!

Works great for storing a 50-foot 1/4" air hose
I'm using to store and organize a 50-foot 1/4" air hose and it's working well. It's nice to see the air hose organized and out of the way. Easy to pull out the hose, easy to winding back into the organizer, and easy to transport. Great product so far. Time will tell how durable it is.

Simply amazing!
I have a 100' 12/3 extension cord that I have used for both powering an electric snowblower and starting a 2 stage snowblower. The cord is thick, heavy, and generally a pain to wind. When I bought the cord 2 years ago the Cordpro was not available in Canada. When it was I bought one. Rarely has a product so exceeded my expectations as has the Cordpro. Nobody - and I mean NOBODY - in the world hates winding cables/cords by hand as much as I do. The Cordpro has made corralling this 100' monster a breeze. No more twisting, flipping, and contorting this unwieldy cord in order to make it submit to my will. You thread the cord through a hole in the panel which divides the 2 compartments and then just wind each end in the direction of the arrows printed on the Cordpro. Each half of the cord is then neatly ensconced in its own compartment and you are left with both ends protruding. It is neat and tidy and easy to store. To use merely pull on both ends until you reach the desired length. There is no need to unravel the whole cord or mess up your neatly dressed coil. When you're finished, just rewind each end in the direction of the arrows. This thing works like magic. If I could give it 7 stars I would. I will NEVER buy another extension cord without buying the appropriate size Cordpro to contain and manage it. If you have meddlesome extension cords, save yourself anguish and frustration and buy a Cordpro for each one. You WILL thank me for my advice. Bravo Cordpro!
