Just what I needed for irrigation drip
I’m new to the irrigation drip game and it can be overwhelming finding different adapters and fittings, so I was thankful this one had a decent web description that matched my expectations. Setup is spigot>hose>irrigation tubing. I am currently using this item to cap off the female end of irrigation tubing which I connect my hose to. I can’t keep the hose connected to the tubing except for when watering due to logistics of where spigot is relative to tubing. In order to prevent dust and debris from getting into the lines when hose isn’t connected, I needed a cap to for the tubing inlet where my hose connects. This works perfectly for that purpose.

Good Plug... But One Thing They Don't Tell You
I bought this plug assembly to close off the connection of a soaker hose that I have staked out in my garden. When I use the soaker hose I connect my regular hose to it and turn on the water. When I am done, I disconnect the regular hose, and use the plug to close off the soaker hose connection so dirt and leaves cannot enter. For this the plug works great. The plug comes with an attached "keeper," which is a line with a ring on the end. The ring encircles the hose so the plug stays with the hose and doesn't get lost when it is not screwed in. What the ad and the instructions do not tell you is that the ring is small and does not stretch... so you cannot stretch it, pull it, or force it over the end of the hose where the plug is used. Instead you have to insert the OTHER end of the hose into the ring(as shown in the fotos I provided with this review). Then you have to pull the entire hose through the ring to get the plug into position for use. No problem there, except... I had already gone to a lot of effort to position the soaker hose all around and through the bushes and flowers in my garden, then stake it down in several places. So I was NOT going to pull all that up and start over just so I could get the keeper ring on the hose. So instead I cut the keeper ring off, leaving the plug by itself. Had I known this fact from the description on amazon, I would not have staked down the soaker hose while I was waiting for the plug to arrive in the mail. So now I know, and now you know. I gave the plug assembly 4 stars instead of 5 for this lack of information. The plug itself... perfect.

Keep critters out of your disconnected soaker hose!
I realized I needed a few of these when I finished using a soaker hose recently: What will keep critters out? These caught my eye. They work with standard (3/4" OD) hose ends. But first, attach the handy dandy strap so you don't lose or misplace the end cap. The loop wouldn't fit over either end of my soaker. So, I passed the leash through the circular loop provided until it made a loop big enough to slip over the end. Pretty sweet.

Keeps tanks closed
I had the on that slips on the water tank and of course it broke, and I found this on and it works perfectly I keep theses on my tank in the RV to help keep the water clean and keep the bugs out

Plug fits....but
Plug fits rv water insert nicely, but retention loop is too small and not flexible enough to stretch over the receptacle. Therefore, when hooking up to water, you have to store the plug somewhere else in rv.
