Awesome 7-way extension, with a very hard to find 90* male end!
I bought this cable out of necessity and was extremely satisfied with its build quality. The cable is really well made. I came across this Conntek cable as I was trying to make a Curt Echo brake controller fit a little better without losing as much ground clearance. My SUV's 7-way comes out at a 45* angle, and the Echo adds considerable length, robbing ground clearance. (First two pictures). The Conntek 90* was perfect for the job, and allowed me to mount the Echo controller in two different ways; at the beginning of the cable, or at the end. (Last two pictures). When mounted at the beginning of the cable the Echo still sat lower than I like with a loaded trailer, but faaaaarrr better than with the trailer's straight 7-way male side. When mounted at the end of the Conntek cable, all my ground clearance was restored, but the downside is I'd have to make a mount for it somewhere and I didn't have that kind of time. I used zipties to make a temp mount as I had to tow a car at a certain day and time. In the end, too many hassles and extra costs were adding up, making the already very expensive Curt Echo controller even pricier due to all the stuff needed to make it usable. I ended up exchanging for the Curt Echo Under Dash, and thus had to send the Conntek 90* cable back, I was actually sad to have to return it! I was very tempted to cut the male end off and splice it to my trailer! No one else makes a 90* male end. If this cable is looking like a solution for a 7-way connection configuration problem you are trying to solve, don't hesitate, the build quality and wiring gauges used are tip top.

Great Product but be aware of the various conductor sizes inside the cable...
I had posted this info as a comment to a reply to my question in that section but it needs to be more public, as serious problems could be encountered. The conductors are definitely NOT all the same size (it's the second bullet point in the description), and as charge circuits are common from the towing vehicle to the towed, it's important that one of the 2, 10ga conductors be carrying that circuit. Here's my info: "What I was asking about, I was able to find out by disassembling the male end of the extension cable. It advertises (2)10AWG, (1) 12AWG, (4) 14AWG conductors and I needed to know which pin each of those conductors connects to. The reason for that is I have a 10awg charge wire running from my motorhome to the tow car to keep its battery charged and I wanted to see if I was lucky and one of the 10awg wires in that extension cable was connecting that circuit (in my case it's the one o'clock pin looking at the end of the cable.) I got lucky and one of them was on that one o'clock pin, so I didn't have to take the motorhome and the tow cars receptacles apart and re-locate everything so it was 10 awg all the way through. That circuit is fused for 30 amps & I didn't want that circuit to run through a 14awg conductor, which has a 10 amp max capacity." You can find out what conductor is on what pin by removing the 2 crosspoint screws from the male end and unscrewing the compression nut and 2 compression fittings that enter the cable end of the fitting, and pushing the pin end out of the housing. It is a very well made cable, and if you do not have anything but light circuits running through it, you can forget all of the above, but if you have current running from your charging system back to the towed, be sure it's wired on a 10ga. conductor.

Good quality
I really needed this for the 90° plug end because my truck camper gets so close to the inner side walls of the truck bed, it forces a hard bend right at the plug. So I took off the other end and spliced in my Arctic Fox camper plug and now no more issues. I'm also happy to report the plug I took off is one of the most water tight plugs on the market, the wire conectors good quality, and the indivisual wire gage is correct.

Heavy duty cable and wires
Heavy duty cable with heavy-gauge stranded wires within. Molded plugs are properly attached and very strong. I cut up one end and found each wire is securely screwed to metal terminals within the molded plug. I used this as a 7-blade round to 6-pin Weatherpack connector and it worked well.

Solved my problem
I have an F-350 and tow a fifth wheel trailer. I bought my truck and wanted a bed extender, but the power plug for the fifth wheel is in the bed and would be behind the bed extender...so it renders the power outlet unusable...except if you have one of these. Works great and I can still have a bed extender. Love it.

Hard to find at our RV stores
Arrived quickly, good quality item. Works perfectly for my slide in camper on a Ram truck. Never see this in a store, very glad I purchased it.

otherwise good product.
Well made product but had to return. The 90 on the truck side plug in would not work for my truck as the 7-way is in the bumper so I could not even plug it in, otherwise good product.
