Then you probably need these. Hang those wall warts/ power bricks off one of these and use ALL your outlets

Had it 5 years and no issues!

I use this to get my tv to plug a surge protector. I’ve had it since 2018 and it’s excellent! We’ve lost power or had power flickers quite a bit over these last 5 years and this WITH the surge protector has kept my tv from being damaged. I only just changed to a different set up for aesthetic purposes. I was/still am very impressed with this mini cord!

They come with an unadvertised feature

I have probably purchased a couple of dozen or more of these little extenders over the years and really like them. Well made and they certainly do the intended job. There is a great added feature that isn't mentioned in the specs and that is the female end of these plugs is lighted with a small neon bulb. I think the reason there is no mention is because the neon doesn't last long-- in my experience just a few months before it starts flickering and then finally no light at all. No a big deal but it's really a nice extra feature that needs to be upgraded to an LED so it would last for years.

Short Cords Let You Use Power Adapters with Surge Protectors

If you use a computer, you should plug it into a surge protector. It's just common sense; a transient voltage spike, caused by anything from lightning to a motor starting up or shutting down, can damage your computer or wipe out your hard drive. The problem is that most power strips and surge protectors don't allow you to use all the sockets with the power adapters for external hard drives or other peripherals. How can you use all the outlets without blocking them with the 'wall warts'? You need something like, I don't know, a mini extension cord. The Coleman Cable 6991 Power Strip Liberator, 8-Inch Extension Cord, 3-Pack is the solution. Basically, it's three short (8"/200mm) extension cords, each a single plug and socket, that allow you to move your adapters a few inches off the power strip. This is all you really need, since the problem is just getting the 'juice boxes' off the surface of your surge protector. The Coleman cables are convenient and work perfectly; in addition; they include a bright neon lamp in each socket end, so you can find the connector under a dark desk, or tell if the power is on at a glance. For under eight bucks for three mini-extensions, I bought two packages and took a couple to work. It's a cheap fix for an annoying problem. It's just a simple solution for a minor headache.

I like extensions

I wish I could get extensions for some other things in my life...ahem... anyways, back on the power cords... have you ever tried to plug in a few modern (post two thousand ... I know I lost you there) devices into a 6-outlet power strip? If you have, you know the frustrations of trying to figure out which way to plug in all the stupid power adapters they now made a part of the power line instead of making them a part of the device, just so they could make the device smaller... whatever... You plug one in and all of a sudden your 6-outlet power turns into a 2-outlet power strip... well hello "Coleman Cable 6991 Power Strip Liberator"... That's all I am going to say...that's all you need... figure it out... it's not that hard.

Yes and no and yes

I do like these. They are just the right extra bit of length I need to connect all my cords. The problem is...........they are lighted. It means that, even if whatever is plugged into one of these is off, it is still drawing and wasting power. NOT GOOD! It's the same reason we have been told to unplug our chargers when they are not actually in the process of charging something. Unfortunately, I can't send them back because the packaging was destroyed when I opened it and I can't use them or give them away. Phooey. Update: I have found a use for these. Since all my chargers all have black cords and it is sometimes hard to pick out the one I need, I now keep my separate chargers plugged into the unplugged cords to distinguish them with the different colors. Then, when I plug them in to charge, the light is a reminder that I have something charging. Yeah!

Very Useful!

These are one of my favorite things. I used to buy them at WM until they stopped carrying them and I was pleased and relieved to see that Amazon offered them. I use them to confirm that electricity is flowing to an item. If a lamp isn't working, you have to ask, is it the bulb, the switch or the receptacle? If a machine isn't working, you have a list of possibilities, if it's cold outside and I wonder if the heating pads for the cats have power it's easy to tell. It makes it much easier to confirm that at least power isn't the issue. And if a cord is in an inaccessible or hard to see space, the light is easy to see. When the led light in the plug finally stops working I have to replace them, but they are good for a long time.So, this is a very useful item and I'm happy that Amazon carries it.

GREAT PRODUCT

Excellent product would buy again. Gave some to family & they also loved them. UPDATE I'm back for more, i purchased 3 sets of these and made the mistake of giving some away. These Powder Strips are Fantastic, I absolutely love them. They work great when you have a large plug to plug into the wall or a long strip. Those large square plug take up 2 or more spaces or the whole outlet on the wall. With these you have access to all outlets. I would definitely recommend this product to Family and Friends and more.
