It's cute and cheap, but I don't expect it to last long
My cats are strictly indoor cats, and the collars are strictly for two purposes: 1) the bell lets me know where they are, and 2) to hold their rabies tags and name tags. I purchased three Savvy Tabby sparkle paw pet collars in blue, purple, and green. It's not nylon as far as I can tell - it feels like pleather. You may not be able to tell by the picture, but the clip holding the bell on is very tight - it was a squeeze getting an o-ring on there for the tags. The break-away clasp is very easy to pull apart, but I consider that more of a good thing than bad. The biggest reason for knocking off one star, though, is that the collars started fraying almost immediately after being put on the cats. Whenever I pet one of my cats, I almost always end up pulling off a long "string" from the collar. The collars still look fine, but if they last a full year, I'll be amazed.

Good collar / tricky clasp
Ordered 2 of these in late November 2013 as christmas gifts for the kitties. The collar material was pretty and appeared to be quality stuff. One month later I found 1 of the collars on the floor with a broken clasp. I chalked it up to a rough play session between my two cats and didn't worry about it too much. Just this morning though while petting my other cat gently the collar fell off in my hand. Again, the clasp appeared broken. Same place. It seemed odd that two collars would break so soon. On closer inspection, I realized the collars weren't broken at all but had a very different clasp design than previous cat collars I had seen. This different design is fine but it does break-away far easier than other safety collars do. If you are using this for a cat that goes outside, you might be buying new collars more frequently.

Super cute collar, great color
This collar is really cute and is the same color as pictured here. There are little cut-outs that have sparkle around the collar, which are sparkly and super cute. The bummer is that the little bell doesn't jingle much (my cats older collar had a little bell on it, and made a really cute sound so that is what I was expecting from this collar). Maybe this is just a defect in the bell on the particular collar I received. Otherwise cute collar, and has a break-away clasp for safety.

To the point review: good price for a cute quality collar
Just bought a new boy kitten and wanted a cute collar to place on him when surprising my fiance! Luckily she loved the kitten and best of all she loved the collar (lol)! But in seriousness this collar was exactly what I was looking for in a nice cute (nice color and a little bit sparkly) collar with breakaway capability (if they get stuck they won't get choked out but the collar will come off) for an indoor cat. The sizing is perfect as it fits a kitten on the smallest setting so I expect a long life out of this collar. Pros: Very nice looking collar Breakaway functionality works (although my cat has yet to lose it even though he goes everywhere crazy thing) Great price The cat doesn't mind it one bit Cons: The cat may not like the bell?

I liked the safety release feature just in case my kitten got stuck on something while i wasn't home and was able to run free, only problem is that my kitten loves to chew on it, which eventually releases itself and ends up being in all places throughout my apartment. I removed the bell because my kitten was really weirded out by it, but the style and color are adorable! I couldn't help not buying it. its a great at home collar, obviously i need another one if i want to take her outside

Nice collars and colours but
Sometimes they break apart a little too easy when cats are playing around. Be nice if the breakaway buckle was fixed on one side. Both sides can come off, this has happened to the purple and green. Because both can separate, the purple coloured one I bought is now missing, making the collar useless. The blue one is still connected fine, as with the raspberry. I had bought 4, one of each colour. The colours are nice pastels, the little paw prints in the collars that sparkle is pretty.

Not for outdoor cats!
I ordered this to replace my cat's old ratty collar, and I received it about two weeks ago. It looks and fits great, and it was easy to fit to my cat's size. When I put it on my cat, I noticed how easy the collar snap opened, and thought that it could be a problem. Sure enough the next morning, my cat is on the couch and his collar is on the floor in the other room. I put it back on him and the next day it was lost. I found it under the bed. He doesn't try to take the collar off, I think it just falls off when he's rough-housing with my other house cat or maybe grooming. He's an indoor cat, so for me it's not that big of a deal, but I'd be worried about putting it on a cat that goes outside.

Very stylish
It is very stylish, nice light blue color, very nice bell which has a good sound low enough not to irritate anyone at home and loud enough to hear where my little Maltese pup is hiding from me, or to hear him running to the door when I come home. My pup is 3 months old and I had to adjust the size to its minimum to have it fit his tiny neck, he still has enough space for the collar to move freely around his warm and cutest neck in the whole world. very easy to fasten. the fastener is not very steady, but does not break in hands. Needs to be handled a bit gently but stands well.
