Amazing with everyday use and two 70+ lb dogs!
I use this multiple times a day, every day with two 70+ pound dogs, each of which are natural hard pulling sled-dogs. This thing is durable and reliable. The carabiners it comes with are a bit flimsy, so I would recommend buying a heavy duty one to replace it, as I did. Absolutely love this and it’s so much better, more comfortable, and doesn’t immediately twist out of shape or get pulled and extended compared to the other popular best seller waistband dog leash holders on here. Seriously one of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon lately.

Not good for large dogs that will be over 100 lbs.
Wouldn't recommend this for Alaskan Malamutes or large dogs if you plan to do more than just walking. The clip for the leash is to one side and can easily loosening belt which makes it uncomfortable. If your dog doesn't pull much sure good value

Loved the Belt; Hated the Color
I have medical issues that make it difficult to hold the leash while I train dogs, and this belt has made my life so much easier. It is much more comfortable than other hands free leashes and the multiple attachment spots make it the perfect all in one. No more having multiple straps around my waist just to carry everything! I will say however, I hated the color it came in and was disappointed there wasn’t a more neutral color. Because I couldn’t find anything similar on the market in a color I liked, I bought this one and dyed it black using the RIT dyemore synthetic dye in charcoal gray. It turned out perfectly and I can’t wait to start wearing it for my training sessions! I gave it four stars because I haven’t used it enough to test the durability yet!

Large to giant dogs might need some additional carabiners or something to keep your dog secure.
We've been using this product for about a month for our pooches. I am not the biggest woman and I unfortunately have a joint disorder to contend with that can make sudden jolts of dog dangerous for my hands and wrists. It works like a dream for our 40# girl who llw well but occasionally sees an extra enticing rabbit. This, coupled with a bungee leash, is great. 5 stars for dogs of her size! But the reason we bought this belt is for our 113# big girl. We're using it while we work on correcting her desire greet all the cats in the world, leash handler be damned! They don't want to be your friend, dog! They *never* want to be your friend! We have her on a bungee leash that is rated for 150# dogs. She walks well on it, but the real test is if I can remain on my feet with a functional belt after a large lunge. After a controlled, safe lunge from from full stop to attempted full sprint I can honestly say that the belt did it's job! I remained on my feet. The leash absorbed much of the impact. The dog remained under control. The stitching held. However, when the leash went slack it did come loose from the leash carabiner as she had apparently bent the long portion forward enough to release the clasp and her height did the rest. A little pounding with a mallet fixed it, but it is an issue if you're using this belt with a large dog and a single lunge can reduce its ability to hold a leash! So, fellow dear large dog owners, I'd suggest doubling up carabiners if you think this might be a problem that you'll encounter. Otherwise, so far it's a great product! Makes walking even large dogs easy! Happy trails!

Great belt
I tried a lot of different systems for walking dogs. I am a professional dog walker and this belt has saved my shoulders. The padding really helps the comfort and you can attach a lot of equipment to it. I call it my Batman belt. Haha I did have one small strap break which was disappointing, but all the rest of it has stood up to a lot of wear and tear. I use it every day with dogs that pull, dogs that don't, multiple dogs ... it all stays easy and comfortable. It still puts pressure on your lower back, of course, but the padding helps tremendously with distribution of the load and cushioning so it is comfortable. It is also very secure. The leash attachment is a bit small for my arthritic hands but it is strong and secure. I did add another clip that is easier for me to use. If you add a clip for the leash, attach it to the same area as the built in clip because not all the straps are as strong as they are right there. The broken strap made this review lose a star. It was in a less important area but, still, disappointing. All in all, the belt has been a wonderful solution that I use every day with great convenience.

Really great if you don’t use the loops
Pros: It’s thick and heavy duty and comfy for hiking. Going hands free with a leash is really a game changer. I really like the multiple loops - I bought some good carabiners (the carabiners they send you with this are crap) and added a poop bag holder and it’s super convenient. Cons: The loops are NOT strong enough to safely contain an animal on a leash. I was using this for the first time while walking my 40 lb English Bulldog down my street when my neighbor waved and said hello as he was taking his garbage out, which prompted my bulldog to run to the end of the leash to greet him. The loop ripped IMMEDIATELY - didn’t even slow him down at all lol. Luckily the neighbor was a good sport and my dog was not in any danger, but this could have been a really dangerous situation if there had been traffic, etc. I simply re-hooked the carabiner by putting the entire belt through the carabiner instead of using the hooks and since then, no further issues. (Again, this is with my OWN carabiners, not the crap ones that come free with this belt.)

Almost perfect
This is so close to being perfect. It doesn’t come with the leashes, which is fine cause I already had the leash. But it would be perfect had they included an poop bag roll holder accessory that’s incorporated into the belt.

Durable; Easy to Use; Clunky
This belt is extremely durable. My dog has pulled hard a few times, but is unable to get anywhere and does not knock me down. It's well padded and has loops for attachments. I have two issue with it: the belt doesn't stay in place and loosens; the belt is very wide and can be uncomfortable or hot. The design also appears excessive and has been compared to a harness or utility belt. Regardless, I still like it and will continue to use it.

Falls apart
A great concept but poor execution. This is the second belt I have received after the first one started falling apart in around 4 weeks. Fortunately it was within the 30 day return period so it was replaced by Amazon. However the replacement then fell apart within 2 weeks so has now been returned for a refund. This is priced as a premium item but the quality is not sufficient to warrant this, I did email Kurgo but have received no reply as yet. There are better quality belts out there at a better price, so don't be fooled by the 'lifetime warranty' claims from the manufacturer - this is not a quality item.

Feel safe
Bought this for various reasons, I could have my hands free whilst walking the dog, so I could take photos. Also he pulls a lot despite being only 12kg dog he is still managed to pull the lead out my hands. I feel a lot safer walking him with this and the matching lead as we’ve had a lot of dog thefts recently and this is made of tough stuff to cut through . It also makes it harder for someone to snatch the dog as he is attached to your body. Really glad I bought it. Also have matching lead and a dog poo bag they make that attaches via the clips .

Very disappointed
I am a dog walker and was really excited about getting this product as it would ensure the safety of my customers and my own dogs. Sadly on my third walk using this belt one of the loops ripped off causing one of my dogs to break away from the pack. All my Dogs were small and light in weight. Thankfully I was not near any roads at the time. This was not a cheap item and I am extremely disappointed with the quality of it.

Straps not durable
The adverts show a dog being clipped to the belt via the Kurgo lead, which I did. Unfortunately, the strap on the belt bust. This has also happened to the one where I clipped my treat pouch, so I don’t think it’s just that I have a heavy dog. Disappointing.

Not sturdy
Unfortunately, I attached my dog to this belt and when he pulled, it caused the strap to completely rip off. I need to trust my gear to be as sturdy as possible. There were no prior rips or anything and this came apart far too easily for my comfort. I can no longer clip my dog to this belt with peace of mind. Additionally, I found the belt loosened very easily when wearing which resulted in it being less sturdy as well. I thought for the price I would receive a much more robust product. Lastly, I found that the belt didn’t have any helpful attachment points for leads which made it impractical.
