Beautiful chain

I'm very happy with this chain. I got the silver color one for a silver pocket watch I own, and this one for a gold-filled watch. It's prettier than the silver one. I made a leather piece to separate the metal from touching/rubbing watch. I didn't order any of the cheaper options, so can't make a comparison but I'm glad I went straight for the Charles-Hubert ones. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Fit For a King, a Prince, or Any Member of The Royal Family

Don’t be put off by the word “gold-plated” in the description! This is a monstrously big, heavy, brilliantly golden, museum quality and stunning pocket watch chain. It looks, feels, and exudes the likes of a solid gold chain. I have looked at watch chains, and have never seen anything that even slightly compares with this. The first inkling of what is to come is the elegant and ornate box containing the chain. It is an amazing set of three boxes, which open in three directions, finally revealing the chain. The box, itself, is a work of art. It is like a Tiffany creation - a box you will never part with. Then, when you first see this watch chain, you will like think you were sent a 22-karet gold chain, by mistake. This thing is glorious; it has massive links; but not in such a way as to look like any sort of imitation, but a creation that looks like a priceless treasure hidden underground in the Papal Palace of Vatican City. I could hardly bear to touch this chain, let alone remove it from its exquisite box. I finally did, with a quivering hand, but then quickly replaced it. I will likely just keep it in its box, as it is - because - as Shakespeare said about Juliet, it is “Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear.”

Saved my life

Best watch chain ever. I was walking home from the store when 8 'ninjas' jumped me. At first they were all "hey man, gimme a smoke." And I was "nah, smoking kills." Then they went all crazy on me tossing rocks and even a street sign at me. I dodged the rocks and deflected the sign off my shin. As I wheeled around mad now as I was late, I yelled, "do you know what time it is??" In that brief instant of mortal combat all motion ceased as their nicotine craving blood thirsty eyes locked mine.. It was too late though for I had whipped out the pocket watch chain and it was spinning is faster than a jet turbine.... "It's time to DIE" I shrieked as I shriek whenever aggravated, and with the precision of a surgeon, deftly amputated the limbs of the assailants like a weedwacker in a dandelion field. I made short work of them and the bloodletting was nasty.. As I was walking away looking at my thrashed leisure suit I thought this beautiful gold plated chain was ruined, but I was just as wrong as the 'ninjas' were dead... The chain washed off clean. Sure it took a bit to get the cartilage outta a few links, but it still cleaned up nicely, and I recommend it to anybody. I'd even consider purchasing another one, but I don't think I'll ever need to as it is indestructible.

Perfect for Men's Size Pocket Watch

This accents my 1898 Model Year Elgin Pocket Watch. Not anything of being to bulky, (read a review saying it was like a bikers wallet chain), Sturdy clasps, can't beat the price. This will be excellent for any men's size Pocket Watch.

Nice Pocket Watch Chain

I have a pocket watch that had belonged to my dad years ago and decided to get it running and carry it, but I didn’t have a chain. I have only had this chain for about 1’week and so far so good. It is a nice looking chain and seems to be well made, but I really can’t make definitive comments on the sturdiness or whether it will last just yet. As of now it seems like it will stand the test of time, but is too early to tell.

Meh, okay not great

It seems sturdy, but I'm not so sure about the color of the gold plating or the quality. And the box it came in is crap. Lack of transparency with these sort of companies is frustrating. Why not label the heaviness of the gold plating is it one micron? Or is it far less? I bet it's far less.
