Wish it were stainless steel like the chain it replaced which had the belt clasp break.

Its OK. Wish it were stainless steel like the chain my pocked watch came with that had the spring-loaded belt clasp mechanism break. I ended up taking the belt hook clasp from this chain and replaced the broken spring-loaded belt clasp on my stainless steel chain. Didn't intend to do this when buying this chain but once I had both chains in hand it seemed the best thing to do. Also the stainless steel chain has a swivel for the clasp attaching to the watch -- this chain does not have a swivel.

Resurrected my father's pocket watch

I was rummaging through a box and found the pocket watch my grandfather gave my father for his graduation from Ohio State University in 1929. I decided I would like to use it and this watch chain is perfect. It has a nice finish and the chain is thick enough to make me feel secure that it won't break. The belt clip is excellent and very secure. I can now wear this piece of family history without fear of losing it.

Perfect Length, Beaauftil finish,

I bought a Colibri pocket watch A few days ago. It is a beautiful watch but the chain that came with it wouldn't fit anything but my key ring. It was very frustrating. This chain cures that problem. The only downside to it is that it costs more than the watch. It is worth it for me. The pants end has a clip instead of the useless one that came with the watch. This chain fits my blue jeans' belt loop and the watch fits nicely in my pocket watch pocket. This is the style that all pocket watches should have. I'm a happy camper again.

I am pleased with the watch chain

I am pleased with the watch chain. It is now connected to an historic Railroad Watch which was given to my father (b. 1883) by his Danish immigrant Uncle Soren Nielson. My father gave it to me before passing in 1965.

Good chain. Good seller.

I'm no expert in this kind of things but the chain feels sturdy, it looks very nice and the clip fits perfectly on my jacket's pocket and my jeans belt loops so I'm very pleased. The delivery was quick and it arrived perfectly safe. I felt it a bit expensive though, but not a big deal. I like it and recommend it.

Handy Chain for a vehicle Remote.

My bro-in-law recently acquired a vehicle that does not use a key, but uses a remote. He was concerned that it may fall out of his pocket, so he asked me to order this Charles-Hubert, Paris 3547-W Chrome Finish chain for him. It serves the purpose, and was not too expensive. We hope that the Chrome Finish will not wear off. We will learn, as time goes by.

When I managed to wrap the chain around part of kitchen table chair, I was worried that my pocket watch -- purchased for me by wife for our wedding -- would never be whole again. The first chain was off, but this one was spot on. Now, I pull my watch out all the time.

Just what I needed

This chain works well for all intents and purposes. I have yet to see the long-term effects, but since I don't wear my pocket watch every day I don't see it becoming much of a problem. The clip is great for clipping on your pants with the chain going behind the belt and into your pocket and I'm assuming can also be used well with a vest or waistcoat. A great compliment to any good-looking silver pocket watch.
