The wand holder is not the best, it will hold the wand when you set ...

I am using this sprayer to spray pest control product in and out of my house. The product is well made. very little plastic, only the hose and tube inside the tank are not steel/brass. The wand holder is not the best, it will hold the wand when you set it to be stored. I will not wold it if you want to carry the tank around with out spraying. I cant stand that once you let the shut off handle go, the remaining water in the stem will drip out. There is no attachment for this model that will prevent that from happening (let me know if you all figured out a rig for that), other wise I will have to live with the drip. Over all it looks like it will last me a very long time. It beats any plastic sprayer. Ohh and I did not get the strap.

Quality all metal construction, easy to use.

Definitely worth the extra money for a nicely made stainless tank. Everything is metal even the pump handle. Filling i easy with the wide mouth and the simple twist to lock mechanism. No need to over tighten to keep pressure. Pumps with little effort and sprays a long time on just 10 pumps. Nozzle is very easy to adjust with fine-grained control of the pattern/distance. Some reviews complain this tank doesn't have a relief valve. It kinda does by design, it is built into the twist lock mechanism operation. By turning it slightly counter clockwise the lid is held in safely by 3 tabs and the pressure is relieved. If you don't over tighten or over pump it you won't need to use the side laying trick some people suggest. Cleanup is easy and essential if you want the soft valve parts to last. I agree with other reviews that the wand holder is solely for storage, I don't use it while carrying, only for holding the brass extension while storing.

Decent Sprayer.

Decent Sprayer. Cost quite a bit compared to plastic, and I did not receive a strap in the box, even though it is advertised as having a strap. There needs to be an update to the advertised accessories in the box.

Well worth the price

I’ve messed around with cheap plastic sprayers for years and became very frustrated. Finally I decided to bite the bullet and get this SS unit. I’m already convinced that it was a good decision. The whole unit is built to last. The nozzle adjust easily to different spray patterns. The pump pressurized the canister with little effort and gives a long lasting stream out the nozzle. I should have bought this unit ten years ago.

Think again

Sprayer was dented slightly and there was no carrying strap in the box as was advertised and is even listed as included right on the parts list inside the box.

Pricey but worth it

I have had no luck with the typical sprayer that you spin the top down to get a seal. The o-ring always seems to roll, bind, do something to prevent a seal. The top on this lock into tabs then you spin the handle which pushes it straight down assuring a seal, just what I was after. I put 2 gallons in this and pumped it 20 times and it probably sprayed more than 1 gallon before needing to be repressurized. The included spray nozzle had enough adjustment for my use. With as easy as this is to use I'll be using it far more often, no more waisting lots of time trying to get a seal. It is worth the money.

Very good for the money, only needs one modification, which I will make for myself.

Commercial grade sprayer, works very well, Only has one thing that can be improved, the wand holder should be spring loaded, and have a slot for the tip of the spray head near the bottom of the tank. This is a must for a tank that holds and sprays poisons. This might be tossed into a truck, and the wand will come in contact with other things that should not be touched after they get in contact with wet end of the spray head.

Chapin/Hudson Sprayers are useless here's why

I have been using Hand Pump Sprayers for over 40 years. Chapin and Hudson and other companies don't care about the customers. If they did they would put a simple cleanable screen at the bottom of the intake hose to block the small pieces of dirt that gets in the hose and blocks spraying every 10 seconds. I try to hard to keep a clean tank but it is impossible when spraying outdoors. The other problem besides constant blocking of sprayer is the number of time you have to pump to get pressure and how often you have to repump. Both the Chapin and Hudson have small pumps that have to be repumped about every 10-15seconds. You spend the entire spraying time pumping and cleaning the brass nozzle. To put it another way...if you buy these sprayers you will have to stop every 10 seconds to take care of spraying problems. I will never buy a Chapin or Hudson Sprayer again. I see they have some new Chinese sprayers on Amazon and they have taken these factors into consideration. Goodbye Chapin and Hudson.
