Total scam

After using this weed trimmer for light grass trimming in the yard for about 15 minutes every week or 2 for 3 months, the line stopped feeding (wrapped itself inside the housing). At first I thought it was out of string, but there was still a lot left. When I extracted the string by hand and tried again, it did the same thing repeatedly. Just in case, I then bought new string and installed it and it did the same thing. I contacted Ukoke customer service and they recommended I buy a new spool housing and new string from them. I responded that the item was under warranty so I shouldn't have to purchase anything. They responded that they would not replace anything. The description of the product clearly states: "1 Year new replacement-for any quality issues, Ukoke 1 year new replacement." However, the company seems to be denying that there is any warranty at all. On their website they only state that an unopened product could be returned within 30 days. There is no mention of a warranty. As for the product itself, everything is plastic and very cheaply made. I would expect that from something this inexpensive but I would expect it to last through more than a few months of light use. The wheels are particularly useless as they get stuck on items as small as leaves in the driveway when edging. Also, the configuration of the head makes it difficult to trim close to fences and landscape borders. Worst of all, however, was the experience with customer service. They simply refused to even acknowledge that any warranty exists. I suspect this might not even be a legitimate company but is set up just to sell cheap, poorly made products and not provide any support for them. When I complained directly to Amazon about the apparently fraudulent claim of a warranty in the product description, they ultimately agreed to allow me to return the item--but I still have to pay a restocking fee. At least it won't be a total loss. I can only guess that all these great reviews are from people that used the product for a short amount of time and had not yet had to deal with Ukoke "customer service."

Spool housing replacement

I was very happy with this trimmer until I wasn't. I cannot find a replacement for the spool HOUSING which is the part that attaches the string to the trimmer. Mine broke a tab in less than 2 years with minimal use. I cannot find an answer to my question if there is a replacement for this most vulnerable part on the trimmer. Does anyone out there know. Ukoke has not answered my request yet. Thank you. UPDATE 6/14/21 - I contacted Ukoke and received a response from customer service. While they do not sell the spool housing separately, they did warranty it for me. All I had to pay was the shipping. It was the housing And the spool and string and spring. It works like a charm for my little jobs.

Easy to assemble and use

Very easy to assemble. Not as powerful as some but does the job. Needed it for the wheels -weak shoulder- so far pretty good. I have a large yard and lots of trimming so decided to order spare battery as this is not quick charge. Nothing worse than a dead battery right in the middle of trimming. I couldn't find the replacement on Amazon. Bottom line, You HAVE to go to ukoke.com to order any replacement/spare parts. You are given the option to use Amazon Pay which is what I did.

Light and easy to use. Love it.

I got this trimmer in Sep and I liked it very much. It is easy to use and assemble and very light weight. The battery last long which I am very happy about it. It made my lawn work much easier. Recommended. :)

Battery pack problem.

Works great however when first put on charge instructions said a red light will appear on charger until charged but instead of this a green light appeared. After leaving it on charge for a couple of hours it was still not working, noticing the pins on battery back didn’t look like was lining up to charger properly I removed cover from battery pack and placed pins in correct place by doing this the battery charged and I am now happy with my purchase.

Muy buen producto. Ligero, moderno, buen precio, ya la use una vez y todo funcionó buen. Lo único malo es que llegó sin las ruedas que de ven en las fotos.
