Severe metal problem

So our well water has gotten really bad with a strong metal smell, leaving gross residue on everything, and not washing our soap and shampoo off cleanly. The smell is so bad that you can tell from the other end of the house if someone ran a faucet. We use this one in conjuction with a shower head filter from a different brand and it makes the smell mostly go away on some days of the week. In addition, the gross residue stops and our skin and hair rinse cleaner. We have to replace it every month to keep these results but our water is *bad*. If your hard water problem is moderate, then this should work for you. We're asking a lot out of this filter so I don't want to leave the impression that they product isn't good. It definitely pulls its weight!

Showerhead

Not really good for hard water, but at least I feel better than if it wasn't there.. Wash cloth is still kinda stiff and shaped to how it dried, the next use after used, but I'm guessing that I'm cleaner...

Defective, Leaks!

Bought my Sprite filter assembly originally at the Big Orange Box. I replaced the filter once with a filter from there, no problems. Ordered this one on Amazon a little over a month ago, looks exactly the same but... This one leaks, quite a stream, out of the seam where the housing screws together. Ok, I figured the O rings must be compressed/damaged so I bought new O rings today, reassembled, and...guess what? Still Leaks! I can only assume that the filter itself is slightly shorter than the old one and therefore does not seal completely against the O rings. Unfortunately I sent the old one off in the trash before I tried the new one. AND, unfortunately I procrastinated installing the new one and now my return window is closed. NOT SATISFIED!

Must have!

I am a cosmetologist and esthetician so I know the importance of using filtered water. My house is very old and the water is hard water which makes my hair and skin feel so gross. I’ve been using this filter for two years now and have switched the filter about four times or whenever I can feel the hard water buildup. Overall this product is really great and I definitely reccomend!

I have been using this brand of filter for over 2 years and it is great. The water is so hard on Texas and it would affects my hair ever since I started using this filter I have no issues with my scalp or skin

It does seem to work

I've been using this product for many years, and it does seem to make my skin less dry and itchy. It's easy to install and, because it lasts for 6 months, it's good value for money.

Great filter, takes a lot of the chemicals out of the city water for our shower. Too bad we have to resort to this, we pay good money for clean water, not a chemical brew that messes up everyone’s skin. If your city is adding too much chlorine or orthophosphate this is a good solution. YMMV, we only get 6 weeks out of 1 filter...

Easy replacement

The price here was def a few bucks more than I saw the cartridge in the retailer, but I got it shipped to home(with other purchases added to $35), so I have no complaint. I love how this was packed with a cardboard box instead of blister plastic that I saw in the store. The replacement process was easy and smooth, and I recommended checking out tutorials on YouTube if it’s your first time replacing.
