Going on 2 years of using this.

This changed my hair and skin! I live in an area with very chlorinated, icky, hard water. I also live in an old house with rusty pipes. This lasts about 6 months and definitely filters the chlorine (smell), and rust, that comes through the pipes. Both elements real havoc on skin and hair. I’m blown away when I change the filter… the color is the epitome of rust, and don’t get me started on the other things that get filtered out. I purchased the initial shower head and filter (separate review but I love the shower head/pressure/options as well) and everything was so affordable. The replacement filters are so affordable, making maintenance a breeze in so many ways.

It's great in the beginning

These are great filters and I can definitely tell the difference and some or most ppl who shower in my hows tend to feel a difference. Only thing is what I see to b an issue is that it dosent last 3 or so months, the shower pressure let's you know when it's getting time to change filter and it's usually less then 3 months, not sure what quality test these are passing but this is an expensive route for most, I have brand new pipes, lead free with filtered water on main line so I have no clogs or anything to worry about that would cause these filters to go faster then stated

I would rate this product 100,000 stars if I could! It saved my hair and skin!

I moved to the city and after a few months of living here I noticed my hair started to fall out and wasn't as thick anymore, it would feel grease and matted only a few hours of washing it. I was having problems with large amounts of dandruff on my head. I was starting to get so upset, and would honestly cry every time I took a shower and would see how much hair was covering the shower floor. I take very good care of my long, thick and shiny hair and now all the sudden it's thinning out and the roots are greasy while the ends are dry and all tangled up to the point where I couldn't even run a brush through it, even after using lots of conditioner. Getting desperate I went and spent hundreds of dollars on high brand shampoos and conditioners and nothing would work so I came to the realization that my hair was probably just changing and I had to get used to it. Not only being upset about that, I also noticed my face was breaking out which I never had problems with this before moving. Also over all my skin was feeling so rough and dry even after using lotion everyday. I thought maybe all this had something to do with my poor eating habits after I moved. So I started eating very healthy and cut sugar out of my diet completely. After 5 months all that happened was I lost weight, there was still no change in my hair or skin. Then one day someone told me about city water and they said it was "hard water" and how much it can take a heavy toll on skin and hair. Not having the money to install a water system through the whole house I decided to get on Amazon in hopes to find a shower head that had a built in water filter that was easy to replace when needed. Then I stumbled on to this product and I can not even put into words how happy I'am and how much gratitude I have for this shower. filter. It saved my hair and skin. Honestly, after just 1 shower I noticed how much softer my skin was and after just 7 showers all of the pimples on my face were gone and I was using the same face wash I was using before. The best part of it all was just after 10 showers the nice, shiny and thick hair that I always had was finally back!!! There was no more dandruff, it wasn't greasy or matted anymore, it stopped falling out completely and no more tangles. I don't even have to use conditioner anymore because this filter makes me hair so soft I can run a brush right through it with ease! The shower head that you can buy from the same company that goes with this filter is so easy to install and the filter itself is a breeze to replace! I really wish I would have known about this filter before I spent so much money on high end shampoo and conditioner. I can not believe how cheap this filter is compared to what an amazing job it dose. The best part is you only need to change it every six months. $11.99 every 6 months is a great price to pay to have nicer hair and skin. One also already comes with the shower head! I Will never buy anything but Culligan shower filters for the rest of my life! I could not be more happy with this product and would rate it 100,000 stars if I could!

Getting pricey but they do the job

Can't deduct stars for the pricing even though it gets me mad, because I actually use these anyhow and find them invaluable. Just wish they were cheaper. I live in a home with high lime content/hard water. This filter attached to my shower head is so important to bathing and especially washing my color treated hair.

Works like nothing else has!

I have well water that’s as hard as a rock. Although my landlord has quite an elaborate expensive water filtration system, the water is still hard and tastes awful. After living here a few months, my hair started to change. It went from soft, sleek, and shiny, to dull, tangled, dry and brittle. I tried other shower head filters but saw no difference. I spent a fortune on expensive hair shampoo and hair conditioners. Nothing worked. I started using bottled water. Not only was it expensive, it was awkward and inconvenient. Then I found this on Amazon. I read a review that could have been written by me. So I bought the shower head with this filter. This month is the first time I’ve replaced the filter. It was so easy I didn’t have to call my landlord - I could do it myself. Since I started using this shower head filter, my hair has changed dramatically. It’s soft again, shiny again, no longer dry and brittle, and I can get a brush or comb through it without pulling - no more tangles. Friends have noticed enough to tell me how great my hair looks. I’m so happy I found this filter because my hair looks so great since I’ve been using it. And having it on subscribe and save means I don’t have to worry about not having one when it’s time to replace. I don’t even have to think about it - it arrives automatically without me having to remember to order it. I never thought I could be so excited about a water filter but I am about this one!

Good shower filter

Definitely helps with better hair and skin. Important if you live in an area with hard water. Each filter lasts about 8 months, although that depends on the harshness of the water. Easy to replace. (If, during replacement, the main container can't be unscrewed, soak it in vinegar overnight because the harshness of the water may have caused scaling. Then it'll come undone and you can replace the filter.)

Great for the price.

This is a great product for the price. Very easy to change. We have a lot of chlorine in the water and this works well to take out the irritation from chlorine.

Fantastic

I have been using this filter and shower head for 3 years now and can definitely see a significant difference in my little boys dry skin. I can also feel the difference when I shower, my skin is less dry. Please note, I've found, living in a very hard water area such as London, the filter lasts for approx 6 months.

It's easy to install

It's easy to install, very simple and straightforward. I'm not a super handy person, wasn't difficult to figure out. Seems to be work great at filtering the water, although I suppose you'd have to test the water to really know.
