Just what I needed
Taller than average gate to keep the dog out of the cat food. Smaller cat and tubby cat can walk in/out easily. Fit perfectly in my 28” door without using the extension. Took all of 5 minutes to put together and put up. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent gate!
I have two of these gates. One for my daughters room and one for my room. One to keep the dog out and one to keep the dog in. I removed both cat doors and the cats can come and go as they please. Very sturdy, well made gates. I have a daycare and they are perfect!

Keeps the dogs out of the litter and cat food
Works well. My cats go in and out, but the dogs can't go through unless I open it and let them in. The door stays open if you want it to. I can close my door with it in the doorway. It is very tight, but I can make it happen. Of course, that upsets the cats. lol. I love this gate.

This model has attachments that need to be drilled into wall/molding, I attached via tension instead - worked well as a deterrent although if a dog wanted to push through it I think they could. Was easy to assemble and install.

Angry Puppy Doesn't Like Boundaries!
In an effort to allow my german shepherd puppy more freedoms while learning how to become a good family member who also can't run off to another room and do his dirty business on my floors, I decided it was time to bring in another gate. This little monster has been easily clearly the standard 36" gates either by jumping or flying leap and pulling himself over. Enter the extra tall gate with the pet door (because we have cats who for whatever reason can't manage to jump that high). Well I now have a very angry puppy who does not appreciate rules or boundaries that are easily enforced by pressure gates! Solid pressure gates. How dare I not allow him to run amok (amok amok amok)! All of the furious. It has taken a couple weeks but he is slowly realizing that body slamming the gate does not bring success in his favor. Now he attempts to climb it. Again fail. Every now and then he tries to throw in a polite behavior such as sitting nicely and waiting in the vain hope he'll be granted access to the restricted section! Nope. Until they make a cloak of invisibility for dogs and he develops functional thumbs and a bank account to order items, this gate is a magic door that requires the password that only the humans have. Sweet puppy kisses and puppy dog eyes are not bribery enough! Neither is shrieking angrily at the short jail cell door but no amount of body slamming has worked which he is learning. I am planning to order three more over the next several weeks and can't recommend this gate enough. Seriously. If you have an area you don't want them going and they're bouncy exhuberant critters who need to learn some boundaries and earn their freedoms around the rest of your house, this gate is the gate for you. By the time he is big enough to attempt to jump over it (and he will because that's the kind of dog he is), he should have a better healthier respect for boundary lines and not even try. I love this gate. My puppy hates it and my older dogs aren't in the age of caring anymore. It gets the job done!

SO easy to install and exactly what we needed
Like many other reviewers, we feed Cat in a separate room to keep Dog from stealing his food. We didn't want a permanent solution since we're planning to change rooms around, so previously, we'd had a removable baby gate in the doorway, leaving a few inches of space beneath for Cat. My husband and I begrudgingly stepped over the gate to get in and out. But when our elderly parent came to housesit, we realized stepping over the gate was no longer an option. I ordered this and got it in a day, and then had to quickly install it before we left for vacation. I was still hectically cleaning and packing when I realized I still hadn't put this up. It took less than 10 minutes to put together and fit into the door. I was so relieved. Both Cat and Grandpa can easily get through, and Dog hasn't even bothered trying to use it. (Dog is old...stronger dog could probably get this gate down.) When we decide which room to use permanently, it will be a breeze to screw into place, but it works great even without the screws. The only drawback for me is that the gate is not spring loaded to close automatically, as I've had with previous gates. I have to remember to close it, which is an ongoing battle. Bottom line: it's not perfect for everyone (i.e., Strong Dog families), but it is pretty close to perfect for us.

Strong, but too big of an opening
This is a good product, with one major downside. I bought this to give my cat-sized chihuahua mix her own space away from my beagle/basset hound mix. My chihuahua mix eats slowly and throughout the day with full time food access, whereas the beagle pup has strict portions and times. The beagle can be a bit of a handful for my chihuahua, so it’s good for her to have a room where she can go and escape his madness. Enter, this door. Installing the door was simple, per some reviews, please make sure you read the giant tag that explains the large gap when assembling. Getting it centered in the door was simple, and the whole process only took about 15 minutes. Very strong, easy to use, and looks nice. Now, the problem with it is that my pup who is slightly larger than a full grown beagle (currently 40lbs) can just waltz on through the small door, I picked this door because it had the smallest opening, but it was still significantly too big. Solution: while some people just cut a bar off the small door and keep it closed, I wanted to avoid destroying the product. I turned to some zip ties, and made the opening skinnier (zip-tie vertical bars), and that seems to have done the trick. Smaller dog loves it, and it withstands the big dogs pouncing/pawing, ramming without shaking.

Husky vs Gatos
Tenemos 2 gatitos, madre e hijo, desde hace mas de un año y medio. Hace dos meses adoptamos a un husky abandonado de 8 meses de edad, sin entrenamiento de impulsos. Intentamos su integración a la familia por un mes sin éxito, después adquirimos la puerta. Fue la herramienta esencial para lograr que todos puedan convivir en un mismo espacio, ya que pudieron conocerse sin hacerse daño ni asustarse a través de los barandales. Ahora, después de solo un mes, la puerta no es necesaria en los momentos que los estamos supervisando y muy útil para los momentos que estamos fuera de casa. 5/5

No es fácil de desarmar
La armamos y en ese momento nos percatamos que no daba la Medida, quedo pequeña, y para regresarla no pudimos desarmarla por completo el Ajuste de la puerta y la base una vez insertado no se puede sacar.

No es robusta: Débil soldadura y mecanismos poco confiables.
Nuestros perros conviven y habitan en casa. Este es el tercer juego de puertas que compro, y no es por qué se rompan, pero anteriores modelos fallaron los mecanismos a los 6 meses y/o se oxidaron rápidamente. En este caso las rejas tienen una soldadura muy pobre y los mecanismos en general se perciben débiles. Son funcionales, se pueden poner rápido, pero el usuario debe estar consciente que tienen alta probabilidad de fallar.

Producto no resistente
La resistencia del producto deja mucho que desear, la sección de la puerta ha tenido que reforzarse ya que está a punto de vencerse. La mascota que debe ser restringida es una Schnauzer miniatura que es mucho más pequeño que el labrador que se anuncia. Si yo tuviera un labrador seguro ya estaría en pedazos.
