It's really cool - and we love it - it is loud though
This is probably the coolest bathroom vent on the market. It has pretty much everything. Any color you want at night or day, a really nice bright white lite and you can pair it with your phone. The switch design is impressive and is wireless making the install almost ridiculously easy. I had the fan in and working within 30 minutes. Pros: - Really designed for a nice look and feel - Lighting is absolutely amazing - Remote control is great and has a lot of options - Fan is powerful Cons: - It's loud - but that comes with the power of the fan I guess as it really does the job - Pairing was a little difficult with the remote and the device (but we got it on the 4th try - 12 minutes later so not that big of a deal) - Use antistatic on the light portion as we've used this for 4-5 months now, we've noticed that dust collects on the light portion from static electricity. We used your standard clothes de-static spray after cleaning and that seemed to do the trick - 30 days later no dust or anything on it. Bottomline: It is really really cool and everyone that has seen it at night with the blue, green, or yellow lighting on always asks where we got it. Of course, I just say Amazon as that's where I get literally everything since Covid. Enjoy -

Included wiring too short to reach the cover; Broan has no customer support on weekend
I spent an hour this morning cutting the hole in the ceiling, running electrical, and getting this Broan fan installed in my kids bathroom. Only to get to the very last step, installing the light cover, and finding the two pigtails they included for the LED plug on the cover are too short to reach. So I can't install the cover. Broan you seriously couldn't add 3" of wire to those pigtails to make plugging it in easy, and not to even mention being able to remove the cover to service it? Even if I could get them plugged in, I'd never get them back out without damaging them when I needed to drop the cover to clean dust. I called Broan customer support to ask what I needed to do, and they only have support M-F 8-5. When most of us are at work, not installing fans in the evening or on the weekend. I knew better when I purchased the Broan over a Panasonic. I let the flashy colors for the kids distract me. It won't happen again.

The wall switch ruins this vent
Everything about the vent assembly is great. I like the light, it's quiet and vents really well. The wall switch, though, ruins this thing. It's a Bluetooth switch that is so cheap, I often have to press it more than once to get the light to turn on. You can't wire this unit to a normal light switch, which means I can't have a single switch to operate all the lights in my bathroom. I will never buy this kind of vent again. The Bluetooth control is a bug, not a feature and I'm reminded every time I try to use it that I bought the wrong version of a great vent. Avoid!

I have just completed the install, pretty straightforward but …. I removed an existing light fitting which had a single wall switch. i removed the physical switch and joined the wires using connectors - which gave me power to the unit without a switch. i was then able to mount the new battery controller within the existing wall box. This worked out well. The install time wasn’t quick for me - i was working in a tight space without the benefit of a helper - probably b at part of 3 hours +/- The ceiling light which i removed had a comparatively small hole - so i had to cut a new larger hole in the ceiling using the template provided with the unit. This was a chore because of the blown in insulation falls through the opening- once that was cleaned up - fan installation was relatively easy without going into the attic - although i am planning to fit an exhaust duct at a future date which will require attic access. When i purchased it, it wasn’t clear to me exactly what i was getting - in terms of wall control and iphone control. All functions are controllable from the wall switch - but the timer function has to be set using the app. and you can’t set a default time for the fan for example - therefore if you want the fan to go off automatically- this function has to be set on the app each time - which for me is inconvenient. The app itself isn’t particularly straightforward - and seems to lock up - requiring the phone to be turned off and on to reset the app. The fan and light both work as advertised- i would say - but pricey for what you get IMO.

Expensive and quite useless junk. Looks good on the ceiling though.
First off, i would like to say that instructions can be a little bit more clear when you install this thing. It's not difficult, but both the written instructions in the box and the video they have on youtube are lacking details: wiring, how to properly feed the duct without damaging it, pre-drilling mounting holes for retrofit installation, and etc... But it's finally up! Looks great! Now, for it's primary use... connect to the phone to control and play music. It does NOT connect to my phone (Pixel 7, flagship from Google). After many attempts, i just gave up. Simply does not want to pair. Ok, that's basically makes the speaker useless... Now lets connect the provided remote. It was easy to connect and pair remote. Turning the fan on brings huge dissapointment: it's NOISY. It is as loud as my old builder grade fan, and makes all sorts of rattling noises (sounds like bad bearings or something loose in the fan itself. Moves a little bit more air through that 4 inch duct I had to painfully install through the soffit... (That is another issue on it's own). Conclusion: overpriced junk. Do not buy if you need just a fan (there are plenty better ones i'm sure). And do not buy if you need a speaker and you're on Android. Do not buy it at all i guess :-)

Ventilateur très moderne et agréable d'utilisation
J'ai acheté ce nouveau ventilateur afin de remplacer l'ancien qui était installé dans ma salle de bain. Je ne peux évaluer moi-même la facilité d'installation car j'ai fait appel à un électricien professionnel pour retirer l'ancien ventilateur et installer ce nouveau Broan-NuTone AER110RGBL ChromaComfort 110 CFM qui a nécessité d'agrandir l'espace prévu pour l'installer. L'installation a pris exactement 1 heure 45 minutes. Après, tout fonctionne bien. Le ventilateur lui-même n'est pas trop bruyant, par rapport à l'ancien, le système de lumière est très intéressant, car on peut choisir des atmosphères de couleur très variées. On peut aussi utiliser son smartphone pour activer à distance, via un WIFI, le ventilateur et les options d'allumage et de programmation des couleurs. Donc, un choix excellent, un peu dispendieux, mais pour moi, ça en vaut la peine car ce modèle permet de moderniser l'ambiance de la salle de bain. Je le recommande donc, malgré son prix plus élevé par rapport à des modèles plus simples, si on souhaite donner une touche plus actuelle et tendance en matière d'éclairage.

Beau gadget, contrôleur bluetooth fonctionne en intermittence
Installation au dessus de la douche. Finalement le contrôleur est Bluetooth et on peut même faire fonctionner dun app sur nos appareils intelligents. Par contre, le bouton pour faire partir le ventilateur ne fonctionne pas tjrs :/ tandis que la lumière fonctionne a chq coup pour éteindre et allumer. Toutefois, aucun problème noté a partir de l’application.

After install the fan didn't work. It's been 3 weeks since and I'm still waiting for nutone to send me replacement part after contacting them twice.???? Absolutely terrible customer service! If you buy anything from nu-tone pray you don't have to deal with them. Not at all Happy!!
