Works Great.

I moved into a big log house with a pretty shallow fireplace (my old house had a bigger one). My brother welded me some heavy-gauge tubing in a half-rectangle. I put it under the fire grate and out through the front screen with some stainless flex hose and then regular black flex hose with a fan on one end and this controller on the end to blow the heat from the steel tubing into the living room. Man, I can get 78-80 degrees on the couch 8 ft from the fireplace in 20 degree weather while the rest of the house is kept at lower temps in the winter. Simple and effective variable speed controller.

Very useful little box

Used for ventilation in old house heating ducts that has no fan, just grates. Huge benefit, especially with fan control.

Works perfectly with an inline 6" duct fan! Wide range of speeds, VERY slow to full!

Tried various types of controllers with no luck slowing the fan to reduce noise. This product (iPower GLFANXCONTROLA) allowed me to slow the fan as much as I like. Great air flow and noise is gone! The speed dial is full range and does not limit you to Hi/Med/Low settings. You can set it anywhere in the range. Love it!

Works great with variable speed setting.

Built a "bed fan" to cool off under the bedsheets during the summer. Used this to control speed to the duct fan. It is a box, so know extension cord with it, which would have been nice so it would be more easily accessed to change the control setting. Great value and works as intended.

Very Pleased

Works as described, I am using this speed controller with a Hurricane brand in-line duct fan for a forced air fireplace unit. I was able to scale the blower speed appropriately for the maximum heat production I needed. Super happy with the product!

Works just fine on 2 fans I'm using

I cannot really speak to the longevity of this fan control since its only been a couple days. However I'm ordering a second one now since I'm impressed with the function for my needs. It appears to be good quality for a very reasonable cost.
