Does the job, saved me an electrician's bill

I had been searching far and wide for a vent grill, trying to find one that matched my model. When I thought I finally found it, the one I purchased was too large for my exhaust fan. After returning it, I decided to ask an electrician the cost to add a grill (I have other electrical work that needed to be done, so why not?): $60! What?! I decided it wasn't worth it to replace my grill and that I'd just live with vent as is--I was the only one using that bathroom, afterall. However, one day I realized "hey, I should measure this grill!" ...and that did the trick! --along with knowing the brand name **um-hum!** Nutone/Broan!--and simply remembering what it looked like, i.e. style... I can't remember if instructions were included with this grill (I think there were some), but there are various Youtube videos on how to install just the grill. Pro tip: the metal wires can be bent further out sideways to get a tight fit (and prevent slippage) when putting this grill back into the vent grill slots. At the time I bought this on Amazon, it was less than $9. As I look at HD's website (I did compare in-person before buying this and both stores have the same, exact grill), the grill is still more expensive there. This grill matched my others in both style and color--and the others are 10+ year-old grills! I'm happy to have found this matching one and not wasted money on an electrician to fix this. *For the detail-oriented: Neither Amazon nor HD accurately show a picture of the grill; unlike in the pictures, the grill does sport the brand name "Nutone" on its face.

Fits Good But...

Let me give you a hint that will keep you from breaking the tab that hold the clip on to the grill, you know the one, it's the reason you need another grill. Take a piece of tape and tape around the clip so that it holds it closed a bit as shown, that way the clip will be easier to get in and you won't break the tab while you are trying to force the spring into the holes in the fan assembly, like I did... Don't close it up all the way or it wont stay in but you will find it is a lot easier to get in.

Poorly designed - functional with modifications

The springs require more tension than the base plastic can hold. As others mentioned, they pop out and break the mount. I solved this by using a bit of hot glue to capture the springs inside the mount. Hopefully this works for you too.

J'ai reçu la grille pour ventilateur Broan dans la même boite que le ventilateur et je l'ai retournée dans la même boîte, donc même si j'ai imprimé une étiquette de retour le produit est déjà expedié avec le ventilateur mais je n'ai pas eu de crédit pour celle-ci
